Bahamas Beach Cottages is a community of 74 single-family Key West-style homes located approximately one mile from the ocean and town of Bethany Beach. Guests have easy access to grocery stores, golf courses, state parks, and other area attractions that make this community a nice vacation destination. This multi-level vacation cottage has been newly remodeled and offers a primary suite on the main level that is offset from the living, dining, and kitchen areas. The second floor offers two spacious bedrooms with walk-in closets, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. The exterior has two decks, an outside shower, a gas grill, and carport parking. A new HVAC system was installed in fall of 2022 to ensure guests are comfortable during their stay. 5G tower availability is also an added convenience. Additional amenities include beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a cooler. This Cottage is known as 'Always Summer.' THINGS TO KNOW This property is managed by Vacasa Delaware LLC. Delaware Accommodations Intermediary License #2024712698 Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. I would give this home 5 stars; however, it was a complicated situation. We arrived on a Saturday and the AC was not working (the house was 78 degrees). By morning (Sunday) the house was 80 degrees. I called Vacasa (management company) and they immediately sent someone out. We went to the beach that same day and when we came home, the house was 85 degrees. Obviously this is way to hot to live in. The house was very clean when we arrived and was lovely and the kitchen had everything you would need. We would have loved to have stayed here but, again, the AC was not working the house was not even bearable temp wise. I would like to give 5 stars to is Vacasa! What an amazing job they did! They sent someone out immediately and when they were not able to immediately fix the issue they started to look for alternatives. We worked with the property manager and she was able to find us other accommodations in one of there other properties. They were so helpful and kind. The property manager even brought box fans over to us at 10pm at night because it was so hot. My point being……this is a lovely house and I’m sure it will be super nice to stay in once the AC is fixed. More importantly…..book through Vacasa! My husband and I were blown away by how quickly they tried to remedy the problem and when the AC couldn’t be fixed they did everything they could to get us in to another property.
