Spacious, surprisingly private, perfectly equipped!
Catherine's home was perfect for our 12th August week in Tower Shores. The room are spacious, many, many decks, backs to the parkland, quick walk onto the sand. The beds were very comfortable and it was so nice to have far fewer steps to the 3rd and 4th floors than any other home we've rented in Tower Shores. Instead of an entire story between the top 2 bedrooms, they are cantilevered and easy to access. The home was clean and have everything we needed and then some. We will be back!

Fun at the Beach
Awesome beach rental! Catherine was on top of everything I needed to know about her home. I felt well prepared for a first time stay. We had a young one - 20 months - be prepared for stairs. Great location, playground and pickle ball / tennis courts in great proximity; it was a great little playground for the "littles". Bedroom / bathroom on main level with living room and kitchen was nice in not having to climb additional stairs for grandparent(s). Decks on each level enabled greater privacy. Highly recommended!

Great Townhouse
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful townhouse! Its just steps to the beach and a short drive to restaurants, the boardwalk and Assateague island. The owner was great and easy to commnicate with. We are hoping to revisit next year!

Great Vacation
We had a wonderful vacation. The place looked just as advertised. The three levels and three decks allowed for the family to be together yet have privacy as well. The owners are extremely friendly and very easy to reach. Would highly recommend this property.

Great location
We couldn’t have asked for a better location. This house is right down a private road from a private beach. The beach was never crowded and we always got a great spot. Bethany beach boardwalk was a quick drive away. The house itself was nice, but dated. It’s not a great house for families with little babies since there are four levels, with one bedroom on each. The lowest level is an efficiency suite, with an electric stove. Luckily the knobs could be easily removed so the kids could t turn it on. The outside table was perfect for group dinners and the tv room was great for relaxing after a Long Beach day.

Unfortunately this guest had multiple issues and broke a mirrored door and microwave. My review of this guest was too generous. Also the house is listed as a town house with multiple levels which is typical for a beach block house

About Average Beach House
The unit was fine but not fantastic. The kitchen was not equipped with pans for baking. The kitchen table was sticky even after washing it so it did not feel like can get it totally clean. The lock/door is tricky and would not easily close so the host came over to help. He was pleasant however this was an inconvenience because even when it closed it was tricky and the kids kept forgetting to ensure it was latched. Overall the place was probably average and we had a great week because the weather was fantastic and the proximity to the beach is great !

Elizabeth. I left a good review for you despite what the cleaners reported. Any issues released to cleaning prior to your stay should have been reported to me during the week. We addressed the door issue as someone tried opening the fixed door which caused the problem. Notes about the door opening and closing are very clearly described in our house information sent to renters and posted on the refrigerator. Also baking pans are located in the drawer below the oven

Overall okay but in need of some work and better cleaning
This property is in need of a deep cleaning and updates. The air conditioning is quite underpowered and uneven, leaving the top floor uncomfortably hot and the main living area chilly. The kitchen surfaces and table were grimy upon arrival, the toilets and tubs had visibly not been cleaned, most sinks drained slowly, and the refrigerator had a bucket full of dirty water from a leak. On the positive side, it's a short walk to the beach (note: no lifeguards), which is not too crowded although right next to the public fishing area. The property is pretty dated but aside from the issues above, there's nothing terribly wrong with it. With some better cleaning, this would be a decent budget pick.

Hi Kyle, Thanks so much for your comments. Once the prime rental season concluded the refrigerator was fully repaired. Additionally luxury vinyl flooring was installed on the main level and new carpet was installed elsewhere. The A/C had its semi annual maintenance and checked out ok. The unit is just 3 years old and actually oversized for the square footage. The week you were there was very humid/hot with temps in the 90s and dew points in the 70s. We found, on real hot/humid days, by closing the doors to the bedrooms during the day it helps keep the cool air in the rooms instead of it sinking to the entry level(s). Three generations of family enjoyed this property for a trip in August -- super close to the beach with access to a playground to burn that early morning energy. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our time away!

We are a family of 10. The place is very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would do it again. Catherine aml Dennis were very accommodating. The place could use some repairs Multiple electric were not fictional. Frigerator had a leak which owners put a bucket in to catch water leak which limited space. Furniture and bedding was comfortable. The unit accompanied the 10 of us. The beach was very nice. Parking for 4. Nice beach cart. It was a good week

Great place in Bethany!
We have stayed in many locations in Tower Shores and the Bethany, DE area. This was by far the smoothest and nicest location for our needs. The house was clean, modern and in an excellent location for maximum beach and fishing time! We loved spending time eating dinners on the deck, and kids could walk to the park and beach with ease. We will certainly stay here again!!

PERFECT!
The best location and accommodations! Highly recommend this townhouse. Very clean, comfortable, had everything we needed, plenty of room, and very nicely decorated. Great being able to walk 1/2 block to an uncrowded beach. Could see the sunrise from the top deck (late June - early July). Such a great find - perfect fit for my family! Very comfortable space for the 6 of us adults! Just a 2-3 min walk to the beautiful private beach! So easy to go to at a moments notice! Just an 8 min drive to the groc store, restaurants, down town Bethany Beach. Very convenient. The beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped, nice open concept living room dining room. Three decks/patio, convenient outside shower and 3 full baths helped make our stay stress free. The deck off the dining room has a lovely table for eating and a peaceful view into the native pine forest, with birds chirping which our bird watchers loved. Catherine and Dennis were very responsive and friendly!

Amazingly appointment town home, steps away from the beach!
My family stayed in this graciously appointment townhome during our children's spring break in April 2021 (right before the start of peak season). We really enjoyed spending time at the private beach, which was nearly deserted during the work week, off-season. The few folks that were in the community seemed very polite and friendly. It is also less than a 10-minute drive to the Bethany boardwalk. The hosts decorated the unit beautifully, and what a surprise to find all of the family-friendly games and puzzles! We loved the multiple balconies and vaulted ceilings, and the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking implements, and even some spices. Catherine was extremely responsive to any of our inquiries, and we would definitely like to stay again during the warmer summer months!

Great quiet get-away in the off-season
The house was accurately portrayed and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked. An easy short walk to the beautiful beach. Really, just a wonderful stay. Communication was easy and straightforward. Internet was fast and reliable. The location between Bethany and Dewey was convenient and the neighborhood (and beach) was almost empty (something we appreciated during the pandemic).

Perfect Late September Getaway
Great location, perfect size, everything we needed and more. The beach is only a minute walk away, and if we needed something the home had it. Our kids loved the puzzles and bunk beds, and my wife and I loved everything else. A quick walk/run down the road are the Fresh Pond trails, we highly recommend checking those out. We can't wait for our next visit!

Great location and nice private beach!
We had a great experience renting this condo. The owners were great with all correspondence and helpful with anything we needed. The condo has plenty of space on multiple floors and can easily fit groups or families. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and lunch. There was even a beach cart to help us move all of our belongings to and from the beach.

Great Bethany Rental
Luckily I found this home when I was searching for places for our annual Girls' trip. We are three women and prefer having at least 2 bathrooms so we like condos or homes versus a hotel. Catherine's place was perfect. We each had our own bedroom. The bedroom on the main level has a small bathroom ensuite. Upstairs from the living area are two nice size bedrooms that share a larger bathroom. One bedroom has 2 singles and the other has a queen. The bottom level has a room with a bathroom, couch, tv and a bunk bed. There is also a closet that has chairs, an umbrella for the beach and some boogie boards. There is also a beach cart to help carry things to the beach. The beach is a short walk and no roads to cross which is great. The beach itself is wide and borders the National state park which was great. I really like this area especially during this time with Covid-19 because it was easy to social distance on the beach. The house was well stocked and our new hobby is doing puzzles while drinking wine. :) Catherine had lots of puzzles to choose from. I would definitely rent this home again!
