The apartment is on the third floor with views across the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. There is a lift up to the apartment in addition to stairs and the accommodation is all one floor and therefore suitable for less mobile guests.

However there are plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the coast and local countryside within easy walking distance including the Elizabethan walls with panoramic views of the Tweed estuary, the beaches, the river walks and the town’s recently renovated parks.
There is private off-road parking for one car and ample on-street parking nearby or two local car parks which are free to use with a local parking permit which will be left in the property for guests’ use.

Regretfully The Meeting House is not suitable for dogs.
The beds are made up with excellent quality bed linen, luxurious mattress toppers and hypoallergenic duvets and pillows. A hairdryer is supplied in the master bedroom. Luxurious bath sheets and hand towels are provided for all guests. Guest toiletries are also provided.

Despite its central location, Chapel Street is a fairly quiet street and with the benefit of double glazing, the apartment is remarkably quiet and peaceful.
