The property needs a refresh.. bathrooms are dated and furniture in rooms less than nice.. beds comfortable.. staff very nice

My family enjoyed the pools. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were nice areas for walking near the hotel. Parking was included. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was within easy driving distance to Denver, Boulder, and Red Rocks. The lobby was spacious and clean, with a big TV lounge that had plenty of comfortable furniture for eating takeout food and relaxing. My wife liked her manicure.

Excellent location for attending a Red Rocks concert however we found it more convenient to Uber and not be dependent on the hotel shuttle which still requires a charge. Really enjoyed the hotel bar and the ability to walk a short distance for cute coffee shop. Also enjoyed the fact that it was a quick drive into downtown Golden, which is adorable and not to be missed.

Love the location. Close to everything in Golden. Room was clean and staff was great. Will stay there again.

Avoid This Hotel at All Costs. The building has 8 floors and only 2 elevators — and unbelievably, one of them was out of service for about 10 days. Every morning meant a 10 minute wait just to get downstairs. On the day we checked out, both elevators were broken, forcing us (2 Senior Citizens) to carry our luggage down multiple flights of stairs. There is zero maintenance and clearly nobody cares. Our first room (facing the main road, the odd numbered rooms) was a nightmare. There is no soundproofing whatsoever. It felt like every vehicle on the road was driving straight through the room. The bathroom vent ran constantly and loudly, and the refrigerator sounded like a truck. Sleeping was impossible. We switched rooms the next day, hoping for improvement. Instead, we got a new set of problems: The bathroom vent didn’t work at all. The air conditioner made noise even when it was turned off. The bed was in a shabby condition and made squeaking noises. It’s astonishing how every room manages to have its own set of issues. When we checked out — after dragging our luggage down the stairs because of the broken elevators — we complained to the front desk clerk. He was rude, dismissive. He offered us some Hilton Honors points and to waive the parking fee, as if that would magically fix the nightmare we had just endured. To make things even worse, none of those promises were ever fulfilled.
