Set amongst 151 acres of beautiful snowy mountains land is our property in Berridale. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, SpaceX's Starlink internet, netflix, EV charging, dog friendly and more. Bedroom 1 greets you with luxurious sheriden sheets on a large king size bed. Gorgeous views of the valley and a walk in wardrobe. Bedroom 2 is setup with 2 bunk beds. The first is a single over double size bed. The second is a single set of bunks. Bedroom 3 has a double bed and gorgeous views of the valley. 2 Showers, 2 toilets and 1 bathtub. A traditional cottage, built with red cedar and brick. A stunning fireplace greets you in the main living area, perfect for relaxing evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and a dishwasher to clean it all up. We don't have a traditional oven however there is a microwave convection oven. The dining table will comfortably sit 8 and a highchair is available. 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 showers and 2 toilets. Please note: The bathtub is currently out of service due to repairs. The shower facilities are fully operational. Berridale Cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay in the Snowy Mountains. Gorgeous views of the countryside with sunrises that will take your breath away in the morning and spectacular views of the stars at night. Access to the property is via dirt road. We will send you the exact location of the driveway upon booking. We have an EO mini electric vehicle charger in the garage with a type 2 to type 2 cable available. If your car requires a different plug, please BYO. Please let us know if you use the charger (just for our own curiosity, thanks) We are pet friendly, located next to the house is a enclosed area suitable for dogs. Dogs of all sizes are welcome and will enjoy the outdoor area which has both sunny and shaded spaces. Please note, the entire property is not fenced, we recommend taking your pet out on a lead. We have one extra large dog bed available for use as well as 2 food/water bowls. There is also leads available. Dogs are welcome inside, we just ask that you please keep them off the furniture. A high chair and portacot are available if required and there is plenty of space in the master bedroom for the portacot to be setup. Babies using the portacot are welcome in addition to the 8 person occupancy. Berridale is located centrally between Cooma and Jindabyne. From our property its 35min each way to both. Just on an hour to Perisher or Thredbo. Our property is extensive and walking the property is an enjoyment even for novice walkers. We have 5 dams on the property, in summer 2 are especially good for swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking. We have 1 two person kayak available for use. The land and the cottage are so beautiful. We were close enough to everywhere we wanted to go while still feeling like we had a quiet place all to ourselves. Everything was well maintained and we were spoilt for amenities - it was really convenient having all the basic pantry items in the kitchen and not having to bring linen meant we could pack light. The instructions and guest information were helpful and clear, and the hosts were very fast to respond to messages. Photos just do not do this place justice! So cozy inside with all amenities for a weekend (or longer) getaway. Hosts were attentive and the guest book has all information you need on the house and local area. Instructions made for a super smooth arrival, road is not sealed but easy to manouvre and goes straight to the house, all 3 cars made it without an issue one being a susuki swift :D Property is nicely tucked away from main highway and still a short drive away from Cooma for supplies or Jindy for snowplay. We didnt end up leaving the house all weekend as there was plenty of firewood to play with and land to explore. So peaceful in the mornings it seemed even the birds were asleep as we caught the sunrise on the outdoor sofa positioned perfectly for morning coffee and view. Outdoor dining furniture positioned well for sunshine in the afternoon we ate lunch outside everday and stars at night by the fire pit, couldn't beat it! Front yard is fully enclosed which is great if you have dogs. A highlight for us was the beautiful view towards the back of the property and the fireplace / plentiful supply of wood. However, the house is quite dirty - all the dining chairs are stained and there is a noticeable smell around the house. One of the bedrooms with the spiral staircase is a hazard - one of us bumped our heads on the exposed metal edge of the step which left a huge red bump and was quite painful. There was also a toothbrush left behind in the shower which made us question the cleanliness of the house …The host did not provide check in details before we arrived so we were left stranded outside the property for an hour with limited phone reception while we tried to contact stayz to get the lockbox code. The host was not responsive during this time given they were overseas. Some prior planning by the host for the time zone difference could have prevented this mishap. The 3km road leading to the driveway of the property is a rough ride especially if you have a 2wd vehicle. We could feel quite a lot of bumps even in our 4wd so you might want to think twice if you have a low vehicle. ##### T W. All the family said the house and property are full of wow factor, beauty and coming back to that wood fire after a day at the snow was perfect. Everything was wonderful, the house had everything we needed & more, we all thoroughly enjoyed our time there in every way, thankyou so much to the wonderful owners/hosts. The views at the front of the house are beautiful and we enjoyed visits from the wildlife including wallabies, rosellas, and lizards. The dogs enjoyed walking the property but need to be careful about grass seeds. The Christmas tree was a real bonus too! It was the perfect relaxing stay. Would highly recommend. ##### Lorraine R. We booked the property for a group training weekend and it was perfect. The house itself is lovely, with cosy fireplace and lots of room for our group. The beds were comfortable, with quality bedding, and the bathroom was huge! The house was clean and well set up with big tables inside and out, a bbq and pizza oven. The acreage was great for us and the dogs to explore. Martin and Kristy responded quickly and patiently to my many questions. We are looking forward to coming back again. ##### Sue P. Exploring the property was welcome for our grandchildren who miss having a large backyard. This gave endless space, and even their dog seemed to wear herself out running around the yard.
