"Bed linens were disgusting with stains and hair throughout. We slept on top of the covers because of this. There garbage from appeared to be upgrades outside the facilities. Staff was under trained and seemed overwhelmed and possibly inebriated. All in all probably not going to be a place that I will stay again."

"The perfect area for a mountainous getaway. The amenities and activities in the area were amazing and were the main reason we chose to stay. The room was nice and it was a great bonus that they had breakfast in the morning. We used the pool, hot tub, and grill and had a wonderful time. Would recommend!"

The room was cozy, impeccably clean, and offered breathtaking views of the river and Washington mountains waking up to that scenery every morning was truly unforgettable. The location is perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature, with great hiking trails right at your doorstep. After a long day outdoors, relaxing in the wellness area was pure bliss. "Our stay here was amazing. The location, amenities, and views all made for a wonderful time to explore the area. The ladder up to the loft is steep but very sturdy with a good handrail. The open layout is very calming. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. Labeled drawers and cabinets made it easy to find our way around. The great view and awesome porch make it an ideal place to stay."

Sunflower Resort Balsam Cabin is in the the ultra quiet Winthrop South community, with a 10 minute walk to downtown on the pedestrian trail.

"The Balsam cabin was great! Good location, very close to downtown as well as gas and groceries. Very comfortable furniture and well equipped kitchen. The highlight was the bathtub! A long soak after a day of hiking felt fantastic!"
