We really enjoyed our stay at Cambridge Beaches Resort, but I wanted to share some advice about transportation that may help future visitors. If you’re planning to travel from the resort toward Horseshoe Bay Beach or Hamilton using the public bus, don’t rely on it as your only transportation. During busy times, the buses are often already full by the time they reach the resort, due to cruise ships and they may pass by without stopping because they have no room for additional passengers. This happened to us more than once. If you plan to explore the island frequently, you may want to consider renting a scooter or another form of transportation. If you choose a scooter, be extra cautious. Bermuda’s roads are narrow, winding, and can be challenging, especially for riders who are not experienced. Also, always be prepared for changing weather. Bermuda’s weather can change very quickly, with brief rain showers appearing and disappearing within minutes. Carrying a light rain jacket or small umbrella is a good idea, even if the day starts out sunny. Hopefully this helps future visitors plan ahead and enjoy everything Bermuda has to offer.

Best beach ever!!! Wow!

The views are stunning and the property clean; I especially loved the daily housekeeping. That being said , the property looks tired, most of the staff of the hotel seemed unhappy to be there, and the location was very inconvenient; the ferry to Hamilton was helpful but there was a long break in the middle of the day where it didn’t run and it didn’t run at all on Sundays! The shuttle to the golf course was free but I never found out if it went anywhere else and the interior looked dirty and very old. The golf course itself was masterfully designed but not in the best shape; it had quite a few weeds around the greens and the sand bunkers were more like mud traps. That being said it was very challenging and we enjoyed our round. The Bahamas are VERY expensive and we had to take a taxi to pretty much go anywhere; it would have been nice to at least have transportation to and from the airport provided. We left a day early!
