"My wife and I spent 6 nights at this property in late March 2024, and had a fantastic experience. Below is a short list of items others may find helpful when considering this property, but to sum up in short: we'd totally go back again in a heartbeat (and plan to)! - Zashon (manager) and Zeke (owner) were a pleasure to deal with. They took really good care of us during our stay. - The property is in the 1st storey of a 2-storey building, with Zeke and his family living upstairs. Despite that, we felt we had plenty of privacy and the benefit was that when we had questions or concerns, Zeke was close by to help. And he was REALLY helpful. - The property has 2 bedrooms; one with a queen bed and the other with a single. - The property is by the West side of Friendship Bay, near the Bequia Beach hotel. - My wife and I loved the location, as it was clean, had great views, a nice plunge pool and access to a quiet beach. We felt closer to the locals, which is the experience we were looking for. You do need to take a cab or "dollar bus" (recommended!) to the Admiralty Bay side of the island where the main beaches, restaurants and shops are, but it's not far. - No issues with mosquitos or bugs at all. Maybe the time of year? - No A/C does make for some warm nights, but there's always a windward ocean breeze and fans are provided. - Wildlife can be a little noisy at night - tree frogs, dogs, etc. due to open windows. Not a big deal, but notable. I sleep with ear plugs so no problem."

"This is a great place to stay if you want to check out the island and not be couped up. You can walk to the beach, you are centrally located to everywhere on the island. Great views! But the best part is that the owner (who was born on the island) will show you around the island and take you anywhere you want to go. He checks on you every day without being intrusive. You should really consider Friendship Garden Apartments if this is your first stay or if you are returning to the island. I recommend it for everyone!"

"Flamingo Villa is a terrific place to stay when visiting Bequia. The house, which is very comfortable, is in a terrific location: less than a minute to the beach and a ten minute walk to the main town. The owner, is extremely helpful and responsive. We booked for next year while waiting for our plane in the airport."

"Lovely apartment just like the pictures. Clean and well looked after. Owner was friendly and helpful. Nice places to eat close by for breakfast or dinner. The front office could have been better manned as sometimes no one to talk to. Overall would definitely recommend these apartments to stay on this lovely island. "

"Absolutely LOVE this place and will definitely be back! Let me start off by saying that the staff are absolutely fantastic! By the end of my stay, I felt like I was staying with family. The ladies in the office were extremely friendly and pleasant. Checking in and out was simple and quick. The ladies were always quick to answer any questions and assist with taxi service or trips. Extremely welcoming 🙏 They have housekeeping once a day. The housekeeping did an amazing job and went above and beyond 👏 I actually had great conversations with them and they made me feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast is included which is usually coffee, tea and an assortment of breads. The woman in charge of breakfast was also very friendly. There is a small pool which was very refreshing. A short 5-10 min stroll to the beach, which I pretty much had to myself! A short stroll down the beach is The SandBar. A beach bar that has swings and obviously drinks & food. Lorincia is a fabulous bartender there, she'll make you feel like family! A total of 8 units, so a nice uncrowded atmosphere. Stove, refrigerator, table and chairs for self catering. Beach towels and beach chairs were provided. Air conditioning in the sleeping area. I never used the ac as the breeze was perfect at night with the shutters open. Mosquito netting provided (mosquitos actually weren't bad). Hot showers! If you have mobility issues you may want to know that this property is located on a hill and there are steps involved. "
