Lake View Getaway

Lakeview house located in the beautiful Sister Lakes area in Southwest Michigan. Access to Round lake is just a short walk down the road from the house. The 3 bedroom/ 1.5 bath home features a spacious main living/ kitchen area, that includes a refreshment station and wine fridge and can accommodate up to 12 guests. There are lots of indoor and outdoor activities available for all ages including lots of games and several two seater kayaks to explore the lake. The large deck area features both, a gas and charcoal grill and there is a bonfire area as well. The home is about 15 minutes away from Saint Joseph/Benton Harbor and about 25 minutes away from South Haven.

The house features a king size bedroom suite as well as a second full size bedroom. The upstairs loft area has two full over twin bunk beds as well as as pull out sofa (full size).
Additionally, the living area has a comfortable pull out queen sofa bed.

The home has one large full bathroom as well as a half bathroom.

The home features a fully equipped kitchen with a gas range. There is a wood burning stove/ fireplace as well.

Note: Per Vrbo policy, we are allowed to have security cameras outside of the home. These are for security purposes ONLY when the house is empty. We respect your privacy; therefore, if you do not wish the cameras be online during your stay feel free to made the request via e-mail or text and we will disarm the cameras during your visit that are located at each entrance.

A couple of kayaks are available for use as well and there are a variety of indoor and outdoor games also.

The Hosts provided so many little extras (often the little things you don't think about when traveling) that made our stay so much more pleasant. Great little cottage to make family memories. Will definitely keep it in mind for a next trip to the area.

Had an excellent stay over Thanksgiving weekend. Hosted Thanksgiving dinner with my mother. The cabin was clean, and the instructions were clear, simple and easy to follow. The location is very relaxing and surrounded by nature. This was our second time spending Thanksgiving in the cabin and would definitely stay here again.

This place was our first ever VRBO and it was by far the absolute best experience we have ever had. They think of everything you need- they have amazing accommodations and room set up is great. Amazing communication and this is somewhere you could book today and only have to pack you clothes and essential Belongs and not have to worry on day one!!

Sandra and Aldo went above and beyond to make my family getaway to Sister's Lake a pleasant stay. The house was stocked with everything you need! We enjoyed grilling out, playing games, using the kayaks making fires and s'mores and creating lots of memories. The top floor was perfect for the four tweens who went. I would highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay. We were visiting Sister Lakes for a birthday. Everything you might need for your visit is supplied. The beds were comfortable, the rental was very clean and well located for our visit. Communication with the owner was excellent. Only drawback is that there is only one shower..I would recommend this rental to anyone.

We stayed with 5 adults, 3 teens (15-16) and 4 littles (2-6) and had an amazing time. Board games, books and toys kept everyone busy. The kayaks were so much fun and right around the corner. The home was super clean and the owners thought of all the little things. Kitchen is well supplied, plenty of towels and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts were quick to respond to our questions and offered tons of things for us to do. We will stay here again.

What a great rental! So clean…fully and I mean FULLY stocked!! We forgot some things…no worries, this place has it all! Nice and spacious, love the loft area with the bunk beds. Super comfortable beds too! Close enough to Round Lake to walk kayaks to. Beautiful view of the lake. The owners have done a wonderful job making this rental a home away from home!

Nice home base for a local family reunion. The mattress in the front bedroom could have been firmer. But the kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean and it seemed like it could really accommodate a number of people with the bunk beds upstairs. Overall, a great experience. Would rent there again.

I was a good times at the house. Bathroom was little short and only one bathroom in house so it was little crowded but otherwise everything was fine. An umbrella on the table on the deck would help to sit longer in sun. Otherwise, Host had provided everything possible so appreciate that. Overall had a great experience.

Great Place! The house was one of the best stocked short-stay homes we’ve visited! Nice linens and towels, comfy beds, plenty of cooking supplies and lots of extras included like picnic supplies, grills, charcoal, beach items and treats for the kids and adults alike! Great location for accessing regional lakes and parks.
