"Quiet relaxing home in a beautiful wooded area with easy access to restaurants, shopping & activities. Close to Perdue campus. Very comfortable & lots of space. Highly recommend. Good communication with h the Host. Ample parking."
"Solo traveler. The room was very clean which is the most imprtant thing in my book. Very quiet and I felt totally safe. The person at front desk was super nice and helpful. The breakfast was perfectly adequate as a continental. Just to jazz it up, they could consider add ing some instant oatmeal packets and maybe bagels or English muffins. Peanut butter and jelly packets would be nice too. But def not a deal breaker.
When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and fresh smelling room considering that the facility is a little dated.
It had everything I needed plenty of towels, a microwave and fridge freezer along with flat screen tv. Plenty of toiletries provided with iron and hair dryer. The bed was comfortable and sheets spotless. The bed spread pattern was like a throwback to the 70s but seemed brand new.
For the price point it exceeded expectations and I would def stay again.
They did have a charming little outdoor pool but it was closed, not sure if permanently. I bet that was a cute perk when it was open."
"We had a great time with our large family because we all fit in the house comfortably. The house is remote and quiet and large. The weather didn't cooperate but we all fit inside and had plenty of places to play games and all of us had room to relax. It isn't a place for the hottest days of summer but for the rest of the time it's beautiful and green and there are plenty of things to do in the area. Our host was very helpful and quick with communications. He went out of his way to accommodate our requests and help with solutions. One thing I didn't know was that the water in the area has a lot of sulfur so there's a smell when it's heated. It worked out ok because it was too hot for warm showers. Overall, we had a nice place for our family to bond. It is a beautiful and quiet part of the country and I'm glad we were able to enjoy it."
