Bachelor Village Resort. Enjoy direct access to The River Trail, The Old Mill and Mt. Bachelor is 20 minutes away. The Resort has a lovely outdoor swimming pool (open May-September) and covered outdoor hot tub open year round. Newly updated, this upper level end unit is light, bright and airy. Inside it boasts high vaulted ceilings. Tastefully decorated with barnwood accents and high end finishes. Comfy couch with plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy the gas fireplace. Flatscreen smart TV (with cable plus HBO & Showtime), High speed wireless internet, DVD collection and games are provided. Fully equipped kitchen with gas range and everything you need to eat in. Drip coffee maker, grinder, toaster, blender and cookware. The downstairs bedroom features a new memory foam Queen mattresses and blackout shades. Each bedroom has a full bathroom adjacent. The bath on the main level has a tub/shower combo. Upstairs bath has a stand up shower. A/C for warm summer nights and fans for each bedroom as well. The pull out couch features a comfortable memory foam mattress. Dine outside on the patio. Tucked back from the road, our unit is quiet, private and has nice territorial views. A gas BBQ and tools are provided for grilling on the deck. Mt. Bachelor Village offers lots of green space and a playground as well. I read the reviews and it lived up to what everyone said. The area is in a nice area of Bend near the float the river attraction, and is a short drive to many recommended restaurants and shopping. The only issue we had was that we thought the pool included, was the pool that is seen directly behind the condo. When my children walked up there with the pass, they said they were “no longer accepting that type of pass”. When I texted the owner she pointed out that we were at the wrong pool. The pool that matches the booking is the pool for Mt. Bachelor, not the Bend Athletic club. This is worth noting because by the time I found out, we were already getting ready for dinner plans and ended up not having time to enjoy the pool as much as we wanted to. One of the bedrooms is a loft, so for people who will be using the second bedroom, be aware of that. There is privacy and it has its own bathroom, but being a loft you can definitely hear what is going on. One thing to note is that the kitchen is well equipped, but definitely a little clumsy if you are doing a lot of cooking, which we did. Still, overall, this place was great. Great Internet speed for those who might be working remotely. There was an issue with the Cable TV that was not a big deal as we usually bring our own Roku player. The condo was super clean - important during this Covid summer. The decor is comfy and welcoming and the property provides anything a renter could possibly need. It is an end unit with lots of light and plenty of privacy. The deck overlooks green lawn and natural landscape that is visited by deer almost every night. The pool area was clean and not too crowded. Just a very great place to come home to after exploring the Bend area. ##### Kim B.
