Welcome to "Truth or Deer", a top floor riverfront condo that parties of up to 4 can comfortably call home with 2 beds in separate areas, two bathrooms and a full kitchen. Bring along up to 2 pets for an additional fee. Also enjoy access to the pool and hot tub from 9:00 AM-10:00 PM daily! The Space: Welcome to unit #236/237 here at Bend Riverside, aka "Truth or Deer", a one-bedroom, top floor, riverfront condo that parties of up to 4 can comfortably call home while vacationing here in Central Oregon. This unit has a private bedroom with a new king-sized bed, as well as a queen-sized Murphy bed in the living area. Each area includes a full bathroom, and the kitchen is well-equipped with everything you'd need for a home cooked meal (or storage for leftovers from any of the countless 5 star restaurants within walking distance, if you prefer). Open the 8 foot sliding glass doors and step out onto your own private balcony, where you'll find the perfect place to enjoy a nice cup of morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking in the breathtaking view of the Deschutes and First Street Dam. Locally known as Steidl Falls, this water feature amplifies the sound of the rushing river and features a fish ladder which offers a glimpse of the rainbow trout! We guarantee you'll feel completely immersed in nature from the comfort of your home away from home. Enjoy access to our pool and hot-tub from 9AM-10PM year-round, and feel free to stop by our onsite office for any questions you may have. You are also welcome to bring up to two furry friends for a one time fee of $69\. We'd love to be your host for your Central Oregon adventure! Guest Access: The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There is a laundry room on the property, which is open from 9am-10pm daily, same goes as the pool. This is a 3rd floor unit, there are steps required to access the unit. The Neighborhood: 236/237 Truth or Deer Getting Around: You are on the edge of downtown Bend, so once you get here you don't necessarily need to use your car. Everything you need is in walking distance. Other Things to Note: This condo is in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. This studio is pet-friendly. There will be an additional pet fee of $69, with a limit of 2 pets in this unit. The studio comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer. Interaction with Guests: Bend Riverside Rentals manages more than 40 privately owned riverfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. The view of the river is fabulous and we walked every day on the beautiful Dechutes River Path. The room was great. We had everything we needed. At first it was a bit confusing because the rooms are listed as two rooms. This is because they were old rooms that were combined and remodeled as one. The front desk was very helpful. They have a fenced, barked, dog yard that is well kept. Of course there are parks within an easy walk as well as the downtown area. The unit is clean and spacious. Note that it is on the third floor and from what we could tell there is no elevator so be prepared to use stairs. The view from the balcony is great! If you plan to enjoy it at night there is a light pole directly in front of the balcony which we found to be pretty bright. I made a suggestion to the front office when we left and hopefully they will do something to help with that issue. The owners were very thoughtful and responsive to our needs and questions.I really would give the unit an overall rating of 4.5 stars if possible. Our only concerns were the lack of space to put our clothes - only one working closet bar for coats and anything else, which wasn't much for a week-long winter stay for 3 people. (The other wardrobe space in the bedroom was missing a closet bar) and the unit did not have enough hot water for even two of us to take quick showers in a row. Also, the management of the overall grounds (not the VRBO owner) does not take good care of the pool hot tub area. The hot tub water was discolored and smelled a bit like gas. It was quite disappointing because we'd been looking forward to that feature of the unit but after 5 minutes in the water we were disgusted and went to shower off. ##### Andrea G.
