"My wife and I recently completed a 9-day trip around the Andalucia region of Spain. I had seen the Parque Natural Cazorla on a travel site itinerary and decided to make the drive up to the park with a one-night stay in Hotel El Curro in the nearby town of Burunchel. "Lovely location with great views of the valley and the lake. Comfortable room with everything that you need for a relaxing stay. Our host was very helpful, friendly and patient with our attempts to speak Spanish. The food was great and the menu very varied. The area is great for walking routes and there are some which you can start from the Hotel without getting in the car. There are also some pretty towns nearby which are worth visiting. If we were passing this way again then we would stay."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Villa Turistica and only wish that we had been able to stay for more nights. The Turistica is located slightly away from everything else in Cazorla. It's close enough to provide easy access to everything in the town, but far enough that you feel like you're really away from it all. Lovely views, clean room, 2 floors for the price of one--wonderful. We can't wait to return. "

"We had a lovely overnight stay. Staff we very helpful and friendly. Rooms were rustic in the style of the whole hotel and were clean and comfortable. Dogs were free at this hotel which was welcomed. Surroundings of the hotel is beautiful.. If there was one negative, it was the look of the outdoor pool.. I know it is winter and not used at the moment but the water looked like it could be a health hazard"

"First, the view from our room was worth the stay—gorgeous! The hotel was good. Staff had limited English but that’s to be expected off the beaten track. The meals that came with “full board” were quite limited, and we would go a la Carter next time. Room was a little stuffy, and it was a little noisy in the evening with the window open. The thermostat didn’t do anything, so a bit of air conditioning was not an optio. "
