The best time to go to Belum is during the dry season, which generally runs from March to September.During these months, you'll experience more consistent sunshine and lower humidity, making outdoor activities like jungle trekking, wildlife spotting, and boat trips on Temenggor Lake much more enjoyable. The drier conditions also improve visibility for photography and reduce the chances of your plans being disrupted by heavy rainfall. This period is particularly good for those keen on exploring the reserve's nature without weather-related hindrances. While Belum can be visited year-round, the wet season (October to February) brings heavier and more frequent rain showers. Although the rainforest is lush and beautiful during this time, some trails might be muddier, and certain activities could be affected by weather conditions. However, the rain can also make the waterfalls more spectacular and the forest feel even more alive.
