My stay at this property was disappointing, leading me to leave after 3 nights instead of the planned 5. The WiFi, which the host assured me was strong, only worked well in the main house and not in the trailer, causing me to miss crucial Zoom meetings. The host’s dismissive response, "It's glamping," was frustrating as she had just stated it worked fine.
Cleanliness was another issue. I found a vibrator plug-in near the bed and the kitchen was poorly stocked with inadequate supplies to cook a meal, prompting me to buy my own skillet and spatula. As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol the shot glasses and beer glasses were not suitable to drink from so i bought my own cups. I also had to search for towels and other supplies. The towels were stained, and the discovery of Athlete's foot spray in a cabinet raised serious hygiene concerns. Additionally, the trailer wasn’t level, worsening my vertigo, and its close proximity to a garage made the space feel cramped and uncomfortable.
When I raised these concerns, the host was dismissive and unhelpful, accusing me of harassment when I sought solutions. She told me I should have just thrown away the offending items found on her property. Despite agreeing to release me from the reservation early, the host refused to issue a refund, citing cancellation fees. Overall, this property did not meet basic standards, and I would not recommend it without significant improvements to compete with other well run vacation rental properties.
