I would have loved to be able to see the water from the house, but not a long walk to the dock to sit and watch the sunrise. Reviewer Comments: Very cute and charming cabin snuggled in the woods on the lake. Have to walk down the boardwalk to see the lake, but still worth the time staying here. Cabin is decorated nicely and is very comfortable. Only recommendation would be to change out the door pad with key inside to a keyless door pad for easier access. It was difficult to open and put back into place. Also, would recommend placing mirrors in each room as there is only one bathroom. Rental property communicated very well with me, Excellent customer service. Neighbors are on both sides, but area is very quiet and really enjoyed the firepit. The cabin was a great location and was comfortable overall. The walk to the lake was beautiful and it was a nice quiet area. The beds were a little soft for our group but might be great for others. Overall the cabin was exactly what I expected and the photos matched the cabin. The interior/exterior was a little dusty. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Several of the light bulbs were burned out but property was prompted in bringing more. The path to the lake was a bit of a hike, but the new dock was nice to take in the pretty view of the lake. The location is perfect, very close to downtown Bellaire and just a short drive to downtown Alden. Our toddler loved walking down the boardwalk every morning to check out the Loons on the lake, and he loved relaxing in the hammock. We had plenty of wood for the fireplace outside and took advantage of the dock for some stargazing.The cabin itself was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. All the basics were provided. The fireplace was perfect to turn on in the morning and evening when it was cool outside. The only thing that was a little unsatisfactory was the condition the mattresses, which were pretty uncomfortable in all of the bedrooms. Overall, I would say it was a lovely stay! ##### Megan G.
