This cozy year-round retreat is ideal for families/9 guests (beds and single sleeper sofa) people looking for a place to relax. Our Chalet is close to many of Northern Michigan's most beautiful year-round attractions, however, appeals just as much to those who plan to hunker in for a cozy cabin night. Enjoy the gas fireplace and snuggle up with a good book or your favorite streaming platform.
Inside you’ll find a kitchen with all of the necessities and then some. There is an island with 4 stools, dining room, a stocked coffee and Nespresso bar, and 2 cozy living room areas. We have plenty of games, and movies to enjoy. A staircase leads to where you will find the majority of sleeping accommodations and 1 (of 2) full bathrooms. On the main floor across from the bathroom is a bedroom with a full bed. Each bathroom has a toilet, sink, vanity, and shower/tub. The bathroom on the main floor includes a full-size washer and dryer. The Chalet is climate-controlled - heat and cooling. Our heating system is electric baseboard heat and the gas fireplace. Our air conditioning is portal air conditioners spaced throughout the home.
There is an outdoor fire pit with plenty of seating, complete with picnic table. The deck has a comfy outdoor furniture to enjoy, a gas and a charcoal grill (charcoal not provided).
There is plenty of parking for your ORVs, snowmobiles and trailers!

Other important things to note:
(1) There is wifi available, however being in Northern Michigan means that sometimes it can slow if too many devices are streaming as well as in inclement weather.
(2) While our cabin feels very secluded, we still have neighbors within earshot and visual in the distance during the winter. You WILL likely hear ATVs, snowmobiles, or animals at some point during your stay. Please be respectful of posted property lines.
(3) No smoking of any kind is allowed inside the cabin. Smoking outside is fine, but please dispose of your trash responsibly.

(6) The cabin can get chilly in the winter ~ typical of Northern Michigan! You’ll more than likely want to keep a fire going in the fireplace for a comfort temperature.
