This end-unit condo in the popular Sudendorf community offers a bright, open living space with a modern-rustic feel. The recently updated kitchen flows into a comfortable dining and living area, perfect for gathering after a day of adventure. Relax on the leather couches, enjoy the retro fireplace, or stream your favorites on the Smart TV. The deck features a private gas grill and peaceful woodland scenery with a view of the golf course and ski hill. This home is ideal for families, with thoughtful touches for those traveling with little ones, including a crib, a Pack \`n Play style crib, children\`s books, and dinnerware. Upstairs Bedroom: A spacious room with an adjustable queen bed and a view of the green at Schuss golf course hole #2\. There’s a smart TV and plenty of closet storage space for clothing and your bags. Portable fans are included and stored here if needed. Upstairs Loft & Game room: A fun-filled space for the whole family - with a built-in retro gaming system, a private balcony with seating, a large Smart TV, and a convertible futon/bunk bed that sleeps three. Upper Loft: Accessible by a ladder from the gameroom, this private space has two twin beds. Upstairs Bathroom: A full bathroom with a custom-tiled tub/shower combo. For your comfort, most rooms have individual heaters and A/C units, and there is a ceiling fan in the main living space. High speed Wi-Fi signal is available throughout the condo. Other Details to Note Mountainview is only a two-minute drive to the ski lifts, ski rental and cross-country ski/snowshoe trails. We are a two-minute walk to the Schuss Mountain Golf Course Pro shop and golf course. End-Unit Privacy: The condo is an end-unit, offering extra privacy and a quieter experience. Entrance Steps: Access from the parking lot to the front entrance involves a short walkway with 6-7 steps. Plenty of parking is available in the condo complex parking lot. Laundry: A combination washer/dryer unit is available for your convenience on the first floor. A hairdryer and clothes iron are provided for your use. Your stay also includes access to a fantastic range of shared resort amenities: Community Outdoor Pool: Located directly across the parking lot, only steps away from your front door! This pool is exclusive to our condo community and great for kids of all ages. It is open from Memorial Day to shortly after Labor Day. It includes tables and chairs, as well as sun loungers. Schuss Village Indoor Pool and hot tub: This shared access pool and hot tub are only a short 2-minute drive away and access is included with your stay. (There is a communal sauna in this building as well.) Access to the pools, hot tub and sauna is provided via key card. Please note that pool hours may vary. (You’ll receive detailed pool access info when you stay with us) The Lakeview Hotel has a great fitness center / gym and is only a 5 minute drive from the Townhouse. The hotel sells reasonably priced day passes at the main desk. Lake & Beach Access: There is shared access to the beautiful nearby lakes, including stunning Lake Bellaire and Torch Lake. Locations to public access, marinas and boat launch areas are provided to all guests. The Avalanche Bay Indoor Water Park at Boyne Mountain is only a 30-minute drive from the Townhouse. While you’re at Boyne, check out the world’s longest timber towered suspension bridge, spanning two of Boyne’s 500-ft peaks. This is the second year that we stayed at this condo. I can not say enough wonderful things about this condo. Close the mountain, easy to get to, plenty of room for people to have their own space, game room is awesome, beds are comfortable, very clean and the hosts are wonderful communicators! It was the perfect blend of rustic and updated and was very clean. Being the unit on the end offers great windows letting lots of light in. The condo is surrounded by woods with a beautiful view to the golf course and deck is perfect for a bbq and socializing. The property is super close to the ski hill which made it convenient to make a quick trip back for lunch and a warm up. The host made sure we all set and was easy to communicate with. We had an awesome long weekend up at schuss for my daughter’s 12th birthday. Everything was accurately described on website. Wonderful ski weekend to be in northern Michigan. The condo is minutes from the chairlifts of Schuss Mt. Great working kitchen with everything to feed five teenagers (which isn't easy to begin with). The other great thing is that you have access to most of the amenities in the Shanny Creek complex including pools and a quick ride to lots and lots of golf. Additionally there is a pool literally steps from the front door which makes it nice when you want to take a quick dip and hang out. The host is also extremely communicative and willing to answer questions that you may have come back to torch lake we will look for this property again! ##### Shae G. All the rooms were clean, plus we really enjoyed the "great room" layout on the first floor which made it easy to all visit while getting our evening meals prepared. The kitchen also was well stocked with dishes, cutlery and cooking ware. It's also close to Torch Lake which we really lied. I would recommend this condo. We were there between busy seasons so there wasn’t a lot of traffic. It was quiet, it was very peaceful. The unit itself was clean and well laid out. We had everything we needed to enjoy our family in style. The owner was very attentive and quick to communicate. Very easy to work with. It was a pleasure.
