"The sulfer smell from the water was so bad my family became physically ill (headache, dizzy, nausea), and had to check out of the property early after just a few days. I own a property on a well and have stayed at several others, and i have never experienced anything like that.Im sure that can be fixed by treating the water, but its also pretty disappointing the owner did not offer any kind of consideration for us having to leave our vacation early. We have rented on vrbo many times and never had an experience like this."

"We had the most relaxing stay at this beautiful cottage. It is very spacious, and the kitchen was fully stocked for any meals you would plan to make. The porch area is where we spent our mornings drinking coffee and watching the boats go by. Our host made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. "

"We overall enjoyed our stay at this house. The layout was great, the inside was clean and comfortable, the amenities were good! Communication with hosts was quick. However, we were disappointed because it was not really spring- ready; we had to wash out the canoes/ kayaks/ paddle boards of hundreds of spiders, wash the outside chairs to be able to use them, and all of the Wii remote batteries were dead with no replacements. Especially since all properties this particular weekend were up-charged due to the Coast Guard Marathon (which is why we were also traveling), it sucked to pay that much money to spend an hour and a half cleaning the advertised amenities. We would still recommend this house since most of the canoes should be good to go and it’s a great relaxing location! "

"We had a great stay in this cottage. The cottage was small but still comfortable for my family of 5. It's efficiently designed. The campground is great for families with multiple fishing spots, firepits, a playground, and activities. The only downside we experienced was the HVAC unit in our cottage stopped working on our final morning. Overall I'd definitely recommend this location."

"We had a wonderful time here with our teens and dog. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook and make dinners most nights. It was perfect weather and we saw wild horses a couple of times while we were here. We loved taking sunset walks. Melina was communicative and helpful and the check-in and out was easy. "

"We experienced one the best stays and we would love to share what a beautiful and kind hostess and support from the family. We had a short notice stay due to a close friends horrible diagnosis and unfortunate change in his life. Ironically, we found this place literally several houses down from where we had to be. Additionally, when we got to the house after a long day of travel and delays this amazing hostess left us a pie! Now we know it’s just a pie, but the thoughtfulness behind it. The house was perfect in every way. It was just everything we needed - all the comforts of home, in a beautiful location! Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!! "
