Great 1 bedroom apartment in perfect location opposite a park, walking distance to Canberra's shops and restaurants. Key access was via 2 four digit key locks inside a low down letterbox, which proved to be very tricky on checking in and out of property. Property was clean, tidy and comfortable (although there was quite a bit of mould on bathroom tiles). We had repairs required (leaking kitchen sink and bent curtain pole preventing balcony access) but the owner came and repaired 2 days later. On checking out, we attempted to follow instructions left by putting our garabage bag of weekly rubbish in the downstairs bin room - only to find the required room locked with a sign stated leaving rubbish incurs a fine. As we had a plane to catch, and we were following the only instructions given, we were left with no alternative but to leave our rubbish outside this room.

"Not a good start when the key pick up information was incorrect. The bed was the hardest I have ever encountered and the blankets in the wardrobe were dirty and smelly, lipstick marks on wine glasses, oven trays greasy, oven door full of crumbs. Not one dessert or soup spoon in the cutlery drawer. ..."
