"Wir durften 8 Nächte in dieser tollen Ferienwohnung verbringen. Alles war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet, Kaffee, Gewürze ect. vorhanden. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ruhig, Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür, und nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto nach Trier. Auch andere sehenswerte Städte sind von hier aus gut und schnell zu erreichen. Wir haben viel gesehen, uns rundum wohl gefühlt und sehr gut geschlafen. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war herzlich und sehr informativ. Wir können diese Wohnung...

"We have stayed here a number of times and have enjoyed it more each time. A spacious and well equipped apartment in a lovely setting right in the vineyards - and with a tasting room as well! Only ten minutes to the Moselle and 15 to Bernkastle. The owners are wonderful people and gracious hosts who we now consider our peraonal friends. We love it and recommend it highly to all who want a quiet getaway in a beautiful location."

Great conversations with the host to understand some tourist benefits better. Tried the German train system some before our planned train trip the following week, made us more comfortable and saved us so much time on a Sunday excursion we would have otherwise driven to. "We stayed at Leiwen for 6 days and had a fantastic time. It is a quaint, little German town on the Mosel. We walked everywhere in the town: information center, bakery, grocery, pubs, and restaurants. Took a bus to Treir, Mosel river cruise to Berncastle, car trip to Berg Eltz castle. The cottage was much more than we imagined. It had a very comfortable living area with back yard and patio."
