"Such a beautiful property, big rooms, exceptionally clean, excellent staff service and always ready to help. The manager was just absolutely amazing and very understanding. The highlight for me was the gym. Loved it ! My children loved the swimming pools, the architecture of the building and it's history. The only thing that was a small issue was that there is no public transport and expensive to get taxis to main city. Hence i would recommend one hires a car or drives their own. Nevertheless...

"This is an old house, with some interesting history & furnishings. It is not a hotel, it’s a B&B, with 3-4 bedrooms and the owners live upstairs. The ( ensuite) bathrooms are very dated. The ( included) breakfasts are served at 9am, but the staff are very helpful and did provide breakfast earlier when we asked. "The historic property is unique and lovely. Only problem was the lack of air conditioning in our room. We picked the place in part for its AC which is what the Hotels.com profile showed. It was a hot day when we arrived so we were disappointed to find no AC. Plus there are no screens on the Windows and biting mosquitos so we had to close the windows, making for an uncomfortable stay. Had we known there was no AC we would have stayed elsewhere."
