"Clean room, appreciated the fact it was double brick with solid walls between rooms. We had a family room, and the metal bunk beds were a little noisy (squeaky) when the kids moved/rolled over. Our room was at the top of the stairs, so loud conversations from the entrance foyer carried up to our room (this continued until 1.30am). The room had a small fridge, a filled water jug and a kettle with tea/coffee facilities, as well as a bar heater to heat the room."

What is the best area to stay in Beedelup?
The best area to stay in Beedelup is within the Beedelup National Park itself, or in the nearby town of Pemberton for more choice and amenities.

Beedelup National Park offers a truly immersive experience with nature. Accommodation here primarily consists of secluded lodges and cabins located amongst the karri forest. You'll find yourself surrounded by the sounds of the bush, with easy access to walking trails leading to Beedelup Falls and the Karri Valley Resort. This area is superb for couples seeking a tranquil retreat and a chance to disconnect. Many lodges offer private balconies and views of the forest or lake, ideal for relaxing.

Pemberton, just a short drive from Beedelup National Park, provides a wider range of accommodation options, from boutique hotels to self-contained apartments. The town centre is walkable and offers a selection of local eateries, general stores, and visitor information. It's also the base for many of the region's activities, such as the Gloucester Tree climb and the Pemberton Tramway. For families, Pemberton is a great choice as it offers more dining variety and activities for all ages, with the convenience of being close to the park's natural attractions.
When is the best time to go to Beedelup?
The best time to visit Beedelup is during spring (September to November) or autumn (March to May) when the weather is mild and pleasant.

These seasons offer comfortable temperatures for exploring the national park and enjoying outdoor activities without the intensity of summer heat or the chill of winter. Spring brings the added bonus of wildflowers in bloom, painting the landscape with colour.

Couples looking for a romantic getaway will find these seasons ideal for hiking through the forests, picnicking by the waterfalls, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The cooler mornings and evenings are great for relaxing by a campfire or in a cosy cabin.

Families travelling with children will appreciate the moderate weather for outdoor adventures. Exploring the Beedelup Falls, walking the suspension bridge, and spotting local wildlife are more enjoyable when the temperatures aren't extreme.
