Good: service and staff good. Rooms are suites. Had mini fridge and microwave. Close to Cleveland clinic. Not so good: Old rooms. Carpet is old and sorta gross. Continental breakfast is overpriced $16.99 / 2025 for what you get. Oatmeal, breads, fruit. Any proteins are extra cost. Eg. Eggs, sausage, bacon Confusing: there are 2 Intercontinental hotels near each other. I thought I was booking for the other. Intercontinetal Suites is for ppl going Cleveland Clinic primarily vs. For vacation.

It’s a downtown hotel but one of the nicer cleaner ones. Check in easy and had a great view of Lake Erie. The Bad: one certain bartender/waitress. Had breakfast first morning. (prepaid for 2 nights) this waitress huffed and puffed about basically having to work. We got cold coffee and she was just so damn rude. It was awkward watching her give death rays to her coworker that was super sweet btw. No doubt this is not new to this employee. We came back later in the day with a wedding party and she immediately yelled out we are closed! No food! We were there only for drinks anyway. We stood there waiting to order as she ignored us and walked away to talk to someone else. We left and never went back. Didn’t even go back for the paid breakfast the next morning. Not sure why this establishment would keep someone like this in the front of the house. Everyone else was so nice and helpful.

A decent, clean and affordable hotel in downtown Cleveland. Excellent coffee in the morning in the lobby. Highly recommend Betts restaurant located next to the lobby.

Bathroom had issues .. mold around toilet and in shower. Door handle on shower very loose and floor would be covered with water after shower.. probably why there was mold around toilet. White towels had stains on them.. the rest of the room was great and so was the staff!
