You are just minutes away from the bridge overlook and practically within walking distance to Hawks Nest State Park. We live in a house in the woods so my kids loved being within walking distance of Walgreens, Dollar General, and ice cream. There is even a hiking trailhead within walking distance. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable with plenty of space for a family to spread out. I was worried about road noise and/or noise from other guests but it wasn't an issue at all.
