There was a terrible odour in the rooms and in the hallway. The carpets are old and stained. It felt creepy. Overall, it is crying for renovation and update. The breakfast was underwhelming and they ran out of coffee by 6am. The staff were nice enough but you had to ask for everything. For example, there were no towels in the pool area.

Our room had marks all over the bathroom walls. The sink overflow hole was so mouldy it was disgusting. You can see in it with the mirror. The bathtub was not very clean. Didn’t even want to have a shower before leaving. But…. You get what you pay for !!

They need to update their rooms with charging outlets. They also need to put extra blankets in the room. My room only had 1 disposable cup for coffee and 0 cups for water. Their breakfast was from 5 until 9. We stayed from 6 until 8 but we didn't get up in time to eat breakfast.

Property looked very sketchy when I pulled up I was just there for some sleep as I passed through so I stayed. Got to the room and it was very unclean, the shower curtain had stains on it that looked like blood.

Dear Expedia, I am writing to express my profound disappointment with my recent stay at Days Inn Mount Hope. After a grueling 14-hour drive, my family and I arrived, eager for some much-needed rest before embarking on another 10-hour journey. However, what we encountered was far from the relaxing experience we had hoped for and we quickly left without staying the night. Firstly, upon check-in, the front desk seemed unaware of our reservation, leading to an extensive delay in locating it. This was extremely frustrating given our exhaustion and the urgency of our need for rest. Furthermore, upon entering our room, we were horrified to discover various stains on the sheets, indicating a lack of proper hygiene standards. Additionally, the bathroom was far from clean, with visible signs of neglect. This experience was not only unpleasant but also completely unacceptable. As paying customers, we expect a certain level of cleanliness and professionalism, both of which were sorely lacking during our stay. I urge you to take immediate action to rectify these issues and ensure that future guests do not encounter similar disappointments. Additionally, I kindly request a refund or compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort caused. We booked a non-smoking room but our room was given to someone who walked in before we got there. The only from available was a smoking room. The toilet did not flush and there was a huge spatter in the bathtub that looked suspiciously like blood. Although the night manager was very friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible, the hotel itself was disgusting.

Wow where to start, the pictures look nothing like the actual room, the room reeked of cigarettes and you could see burns on the bed and floors, There was a guy in hallway that said he saw bedbugs and he was told to leave with a night still remaining, We personally didnt see a bedbug but wouldn't surprise me since my girlfriend moved her suitcase and saw a roach scatter so highly believable, Looked like they didnt even run the vaccum when we first got there, Change and lighter inside couch cushions so we know they don't clean there either, The bathroom floor was wet when we got there so who knows if that's from where they mopped or didnt mop and left from last people staying there, If you are reading this i would highly suggest you do not stay here AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, We will be reporting this to health department

Great price for a so-so room. The room was clean and the linens were clean. The bed was comfortable, but unfortunately the toilet leaked creating a puddle in the middle of the bathroom floor.

This didn’t even feel or look like the property displayed on Expedia, much less the favorable reviews. They “don’t have any kings” despite that being what my reservation was for, pool is completely locked and inaccessible, no basic information was provided (my ID wasn’t checked) and absolutely no customer service. There were also major safety concerns including the door not being secure (inches of light gaping through between the door and the frame), half the lights didn’t work (including no light coming on when the switch was turned on), black mold in the shower, and a toilet that also occasionally leaked and left the floor puddled.

The staff at this property was very nice. I was happy with the location and the value. It's ashame the property needs so much work. Disgusting carpet. Replacing it all over the property would be a great start. I found my room to be clean. But, again the carpet was horrible.

The room king bed, I booked wasn’t clean upon arrival, had to be put in another, double queen which was not what I wanted. Hall carpets needs cleaned or replaced. Bed linen needs replaced, one bed looked for lack of a better word was disgusting. Other than that, overall the room was clean. And three or four rooms down, we’re teens partying like rock stars with their door not fully closed. On the plus side, location was awesome. Hate leaving this kind of review as it is not the person I am, so please just take this as suggestions as to what needs to be addressed. Thank you.

The only reason I gave it two stars for overall instead of one is because of how sweet and kind the front desk staff was. If you can avoid don’t check into roach hotel. It was the only vacancy I could find for Bridge Day - I’m a reporter who made the trip from Baltimore. Also the wifi sucks. The hotel itself needs to either be deep cleaned and fumigated or demolished. I had a hole in my bathroom wall, several roaches running around on the floor, a red stain on the shower curtain, several stains on the sheets to one of the beds. I booked no smoking but the whole place smelled like old cigarettes. The carpet made me wince. I’m not a frills type of person either but this was bad! If I was there longer than two nights I would have left early.

First room had a fire alam that needed a new battery. No one was available to change it. Told to move rooms and come to the front desk for a new one. That room was dirty and had not been cleaned. Returned to front desk for a third try. The third room was acceptable although not very clean. Would not recommend.

The gentleman working the desk was super friendly and professional. However the building, rooms, carpet was very worn, the entire place definitely needs updated and attention, everything appeared to be very old, stained and in need of replacement. Although for the most part the building appeared clean and smelled of cleaning agents.

Had. I choice but to stay as hotels were booked during peak season but I would have rather stay in my car to be honest. Sheets were stained along with almost everything else in the hotel. I am shocked how a hotel like this passes inspection

Check in was fine. I reserved a king and was told it wasn't ready yet at 330p. Said I would come back and was told they had no clue when it would be ready. Gave me a queen instead. I travel the country frequently and I stay at motels mostly so I don't need much. Bed was terrible. I went to Walmart to purchase a mattress topper. Much better. Everything else was just fine. A/C worked wonderfully
