Closer to home, the local village offers a useful shop and a pub to call in at after exploring the area. For beach days, Westward Ho! with its sandy shores, surfing opportunities, and a variety of independent eateries, is only 15 miles away. Other fantastic spots to visit include the seaside town of Bude, with its choice of beaches, maritime history and fun sea pool, and Hartland, which boasts breathtaking coastal walks, both within 19 miles.
