Welcome to the Altitude Adjustment! Proudly marketed by Okanagan Vacation Properties, our beautiful Big White, 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom chalet is perfect for the entire extended family, including Fido. With a huge fully equipped kitchen and eating and sleeping room for 12, there is no shortage of space. We love families! Please no party groups. New for the 22/23 season we have all new quartz counters, sinks, lighting and heated tile entry! Relax after your day on the slopes in the comfortable, high quality leather sofas or in the large, private hot tub. There is an additional seating area in the loft and games room in the garage, so everyone has space to spread out. Located in the family-friendly neighborhood of Snow Pines, our chalet is located on a quiet street and there is a ski-out track in front that is also great for tobogganing at night. As you enter through the garage/games room, where there is plenty of storage for your skis, boards and wet clothes, there is also a heated boot dryer. The basement level offers a heated slate floor, full bath and bunk room with 2 sets of single bunk beds to sleep 4. On the 2nd (main level), is the kitchen, living and dining rooms, as well as a powder room and large room with a King bed. On the 3rd (top) floor, there is an additional sitting area with cable TV, a full bath with tub/shower, a bedroom with a single-over-double bunk, and the master bedroom with a King bed and full ensuite. There is no garage parking because it is a games room but there are 2 driveway parking spots and a free overflow lot at the end of the street. Hot tub runs year round and there is a new fire pit area for sitting out under the stars in the summer. The pool table is for playing pool only. Do not store anything on it or use it for adjusting or maintaining ski/board equipment. Layout works well for families with kids. Kids can have their own space downstairs where their bunk beds are. The games room is spacious with lots of room to de-gear after skiing. Ski in/out was decent. A little flat spot on the in and out but that could have been cause of the fresh snow. Toddlers might need a bit of help. We had a 12 year old beginner skier and he managed to "skate" his way along without poles. We parked two full size pick up trucks in the driveway side by side. Steps from the ski out down to the Ridge Rocket, Snow Ghost and Plaza lifts, the home was well equipped, clean and comfortable. There was lots of room for boots, boards and skis (including boot warmers!), and the sunrise and sunset views of the mountains from the deck (and hot tub) were spectacular. This place was an awesome set up for three families with kids. We were two families of 4 and one family of 3, kids ages 5-9\. Beds were comfortable, the place was fully equipped and the downstairs pool table and football table were a hit with kids & adults alike. The only glitch we had was that when we arrived the hot tub was cloudy and not clean, there was a green sludge all along the inside at the water line that was leaving literal stain lines of green across the tops of our bathing suits. The property manager was great & did have the hot tub company come right away and clean it again but even after that it took a lot of effort by us cleaning it with the hand skimmer basket thing & wiping it down for it to be clean enough for us to want to use it. By the last two days we managed to get it clean enough that it wasn't staining our suits. Regardless of this little hiccup we still all thought this place was great & the hot tub probably just needs to be emptied and really thoroughly cleaned. The ski trail to the mountain was pretty easily accessed, might be tricky with really little kids but for our kids who have ski skills it was totally fine. Getting back to the chalet after skiing was super simple. Big White was a wonderful experience and we all left with huge smiles on our faces!! ##### Nicola C. Our group of 10 loved our recent stay here! We came for just under a week for snowboarding and tubing and relaxing back at the chalet. The house was laid out really well and had more then enough room for all of us. The view from the hot tub on a clear day was outstanding and close enough to ski in/ski out or a quick 3 minute drive to the gondola base. Overall really happy with our stay! ##### Nerissa K. I call property manager and she give me the correct one. Additional requirements in home rules book that was not listed on the add ... like clean up your towels and dishes and put them back on spot , kind of hard to do it all before 10 AM check out after breakfast. Cleaning fee should cover that . This will be one of our most favorite holiday vacations ever. The location was perfect. Close to the village (could walk, drive to gondola or ski). Ski in and ski out was perfect. Cabin was very clean and well stocked. The holiday decor was so thoughtful. Hot tub was lovely and serviced twice during our stay. So nice to have clothes washer and dryer. Garage was perfect for storing our ski gear. We cooked 2/3 of our meals in and chose to enjoy the restaurants for dinner. Nice to have the option of both. The loft was a nice area for our teens to get away from the adults and do their own thing. Thank you for having us! We dream of more Canada ski vacations at our most favorite ski resort. The space worked great for us with separation of spaces and lots of bathrooms.
