"Beautiful setting overlooking an inland lake on the island. Water and beach toys are provided including a variety of floatation vests. The beach is sandy with clear, shallow water for several feet. Very few boats or people on the water. Was fun to see and listen to the loons in the evening. Well appointed kitchen with air fryer, crockpot, cooler. Close to some beautiful, quiet beaches on Lake Michigan and several hiking lanes. Our only issue was the fact that with a family of 5-9 at the house for a week we ran out of toilet paper, dishwasher detergent and other similar items so had to make a couple runs to the market in town. The house rules also required that we make a run to take the trash and recycling to the local center. These were all runs of more than 20 min of dirt roads. Not really a complaint but something to be aware of. If you are bringing a large family, pick up extra green trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and toilet paper on one of your runs through town. "
