"We are elderly, 70 and 85 and this home was perfect for us. It is very comfortable with fantastic views of Lake Superior. We tend to spend more time at the home rather than out so comfort ranks above ultra stylish. One bedroom is on ground floor and offers privacy for the handicapped. The gas fireplace was great. We hope to visit again."

"My three teens and I spent the Easter weekend here and had the best time. We loved that the property was large enough to hike around and we did several walks up the hill there. We even spotted a coyote one evening and several deer another morning. For being just off of Hwy 61, the property is actually so quiet and peaceful and I loved the peeks of lake you get out of the windows. The house was clean and well appointed. We were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location is ideal. Quick drives to the state parks, local parks and so many things to do. We all agreed we want to come back in warmer weather, but the snowy weather offered plenty of adventures too! We visited Split Rock Lighthouse, Tettagouche, and Black Beach all while there. The sauna was an awesome addition that we didn't expect when we first booked, but we used and enjoyed it every day."

"This property was absolutely perfect to celebrate a birthday. When we walked in it is so clean and the view is stunning. The kitchen is so well stocked. Thank you for the cookies and providing coffee. The whole house is so nicely decorated and the beds are comfy. Lots of relaxing, playing games and laughing had by all. Great location for exploring the beautiful North Shore. Barb was such a sweetheart host. She made sure we got in and had everything we needed. So responsive to all our questions. Hopefully we can stay again."

Tents are warm, beds are comfy, the little details of games, bear box filled with all the cooking supplies, happy hours, sauna and games available. Such an epic experience. The staff are so nice, helpful and informative of local hiking food and more. We will be back again!! "
