This vacation rental is perfect for families with over 2400 square feet of open concept living, 5 bedrooms, 2 decks and a 12’ x 20’ private dock on the water. This is the place to make memories for your family holidays and special gatherings. Fun, play, laughter, and relaxation await you in our cozy main floor family room with wood burning fireplace or in the lower games room complete with a pool table. Just outside the door there are hiking and walking trails for all ages and abilities. Within walking distance; Trail Name: Embleton Mountain Distance: 8.9km Time: 2 - 3 hrs Trail Conditions: Loose dirt, single track, fairly steep Highlights: The views of Heffley a lake and surrounding hills from the summit are gorgeous. We stayed over the Christmas holiday so we could have a white Christmas and ski at Sun Peaks. The house is absolutely beautiful and was perfect accommodations for our family. They decorated it for Christmas which was such a nice touch. The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen that I have ever had at a rental. There were lots of kids books and toys and a high chair which was so helpful with our 17-month-old daughter. The drive from the house to Sun Peaks was quick and easy. The view of the lake was beautiful and we were lucky enough that the ice was well frozen so we got to go out and play on the ice.
