This longhouse was our refuge during the great floods of 2023. We experienced wonderful moments there and found peace. It is only natural that today, we invite you to experience moments of simple happiness there in turn, with family or friends, in a setting that is both rustic and peaceful. The accommodation "Le Refuge" is located in the Montreuil countryside, a 5-minute drive from the magnificent walled city, 10 minutes from "Petit Quentovic" (electric boat trips in Attin), 25 minutes from the fine sandy beaches of Le Touquet, Berck (and its seals), Stella or Merlimont; 45 minutes from St Valéry and 35 minutes from the Marquenterre Park; 40 minutes from the Hesdin forest, 55 minutes from the superb unspoiled beaches of Audresselles, Ambleteuse, etc. 20 minutes from the "Bagatelle" amusement park. Bowling alleys 20 minutes away (Cucq or Hesdin). Golf courses of Le Touquet and Nampont St Martin 15 km away. Montreuil-sur-Mer: Market in the town centre on Saturday mornings. Famous flea market every 14 July. Our approximately 140 m² accommodation includes: - on the ground floor: a well-equipped kitchen with a high table for breakfasts or preparing meals; a dining room for 8 people; a living room with a wood-burning fireplace (stove); a bathroom (shower and bathtub) with toilet; a laundry room (with toilet) and sink, providing a second space for washing or getting ready; a large dressing room PGJyPg a bedroom with a 160/200 bed PGJyPg a bedroom with bunk beds 80/200 PGJyPg PGJyPg - on the 1st floor: PGJyPg note that the staircase is quite narrow and the beams on the upper floor are quite low, which is very charming - for those sensitive to noise: the bedrooms on the upper floor have no doors. This makes a total of 4 bedrooms for 8 to 9 beds (an 80/200 mattress can be added in the lower drawer of the bunk bed on request). They all have storage furniture (chests of drawers, wardrobes), as well as blinds or blackout curtains so you can sleep in the morning or take a nap in the afternoon. Outside: Garden (several separate areas), Carport with ping-pong table, Footballs, volleyballs, badminton rackets, 2 pétanque sets (children's and adults'), Garden furniture (tables, chairs) and a barbecue are available. The village has a very beautiful A recently built playground (petanque court, play area for toddlers, synthetic pitch for older children) is located less than 500m from the house; there is also a paintball field. However, there are no shops nearby, so a car is necessary. The area is quiet, and horses regularly graze in the pastures opposite the house. The regional train (TER) passes behind the house approximately 5 times a day. A cleaning fee is mandatory at the end of your stay. For a longer stay, or if you wish, cleaning can be done several times during your stay, either in your presence or while you are out for a walk, at your convenience, upon prior request and for an additional fee. Similarly, for an additional fee, if you have any special requests (stocked refrigerator upon arrival, need for additional equipment, etc.), please do not hesitate to ask; if possible, we will accommodate your request. Parties and gatherings are permitted, provided you are considerate of our house and discreet out of respect for our neighbors. Thank you in advance. Young children Children aged 0-2 are of course welcome; however, the house does not have any equipment such as a travel cot, high chair, changing table, etc. Guests are responsible for bringing their own. If you need childcare, please don't hesitate to ask us; we can recommend babysitters we know! The house is non-smoking. Please smoke in the garden or on the terrace (cigarette butts should be placed in the ashtray provided). We provide bed linen, towels, bath mats, and shower gel/shampoo.

A "Delonghi Dedica" espresso coffee maker is at your disposal, a packet of coffee in the kitchen cupboard. You will also find 2 French press coffee makers of different sizes and individually wrapped sugar cubes. ❤️ Animals are welcome at the Refuge.
