We found lots to see and do locally. We walked over to the castle at Tarascon one day. We took the train to Avignon one day, and to Nimes another. Beaucaire itself has plenty of beautiful old buildings and interesting streets to explore. There are good places to eat. However, we did not need to eat out every day. The kitchen in the apartment is small, but perfectly functional and well equipped, so I was able to cook dinner for 4 people there. The living area is spacious so we were able to invite my brother and his wife for drinks with us one evening. ##### Rebecca G.
