"The staff and hotel were very nice. The restaurant was having staffing issues and couldn’t accommodate our complimentary breakfast one of the days. Hopefully when we come next time those issues will be resolved. On the whole we enjoyed our stay."

"It is a clean, nice place with great beds. David is a good host and it was easy to get into and out of the unit. The outside of the building isn’t special, but the inside of his unit is very nice. The location is terrific and a great view of the sound. Port Alice is a great little quiet town, nestled in a remote area of the island. Perfect get away and or fishing trip. Dave also helped us find a boat to charter and we did well fishing:). Great trip. Thanks David."

"It had the most amazing view!! My only suggestion would be to buy groceries before you get on the island because the grocery store is very expensive and everywhere you can order a meal is either closed very early or only open a couple days a week. Beautiful place though and Lynne was amazing! Loved staying at Orca Lodge."

"We had a lovely stay at Island Alchemy. I had a bubble bath in the claw foot tub on the private deck and two deer came and nibbled the grass 15 feet from me - delightful! The accomodations were perfect - comfy bed, well equiped kitchen, luxurious towels and robes. The view is gorgeous - full on ocean where you can watch the fishing boats trundle by. No whales spotted but we did see one on the ferry on the way to this beautiful destination."

"The Pioneer Inn is an older property which appears from the outside to have seen better days. However the friendly new owners are upgrading the interior. Our room was spacious & the beds were lovely. The floors were redone with new flooring , bathrooms vanity. etc. The restaurant which is run by the hotel owners has delicious Asian food. I enjoyed the beautifully presented tempura."

"The house was very clean and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a wonderful abundance of houseplants. The view was truly fabulous, whether sunny or rainy; it was mesmerizing watching the fog roll through. The owner kindly shared tips and suggestions for the area. Some of the windows lacked screens and some furniture and appliances were on the older side, but everything worked well. Overall, a serene, cozy experience. We'd love to stay there again!"

"This place in Quatsino was absolutely amazing. The oceanfront location is breathtaking, and there’s something so peaceful about waking up to the water and taking in the beauty all around you. The space itself was cozy, welcoming, and the perfect place to unwind.We especially loved exploring the area — the hikes were beautiful, and the scenery everywhere you turn is just incredible. It’s one of those places that makes you slow down, breathe deeper, and really appreciate where you are.A perfect little getaway if you love the ocean, nature, and a cozy place to come back to at the end of the day. We truly loved our stay."
