Beacon of Happiness Monument

The place is a gem - - hidden but a treasure to behold. For those wanting some peace or ‘off grid’ (kind of), this is the place to be. It is close to a river and I was told they have a library that can be accessed by the visitors. For a nominal fee, one can learn a bit of history of the monastery. Their restaurant prepares excellent meal. Their 9 course is a must try. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. If you need a transfer or ride to or from the monastery, the staff can arrange it. If given another chance, I will stay again at Monte Pacis. I love the feel of being in a historic place such as this. I definitely recommend this place to everyone even if you are only to stay one night. Their local tour guide was very knowledgeable. Overall I had fun being in this place.

The property suited our requirements very well. Well fitted out for self catering and within 20 minutes of the best of the city in any direction.

This property is located in the walking distance from the old town. It is quite, spacious rooms, clean kitchen and big bathroom, all made my stay there very comfortable.
