"Rented this property for my sons navy graduation, Base was only 6 minutes from the home. Tons of places to eat and shop no more then 15 minutes away. The house was super cute, very clean. we flew in at 10am and without even having to ask the host reached out and let us know it was ready for check in a few hours early which was great. left some packaged up congrats grad decor that hopefully didnt get thrown out and the next navy fam can use. "

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chicago Gurnee

10/10 Excellent

"The outside was a little dated, but inside was modern. Everything was clean. I liked that the sink and vanity were outside the bathroom, which made it easier for everyone getting ready in the morning. The hotel was packed, but still quiet at night—we heard nothing. The coffee was pretty good. The hot breakfast varied each day (those triangle egg and cheese omelets and sausage one morning and biscuits and gravy the next). There was oatmeal, a pancake and a waffle maker, a few cereals, orange & apple juice, bagels, doughnuts, apples, and yogurt. Front desk staff was very nice. Parking in the back of the hotel was a little sketchy/dark but no issues with our vehicle."

"I was grateful to have reserved a hotel near base. The staff was extremely helpful, even during difficult times! Cassandra at the front was an absolute sweetheart when it came to helping my partner and I with our key cards. The only down side was the fact that there was people arguing extremely loudly outside the front of the hotel. I could hear it from my room, even late at night. Not something that is necessarily their fault! Overall 10/10 stay for a little weekend trip :)"

"I stayed for 2 nights because I was in town for the BTS concert, and overall, everything was perfect. The place was very clean, welcoming, and I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The only issue I had was with the check-in process. I did check in about 2 hours early, and I was told there would be a $25 early check-in fee, which I was completely okay with. However, when I went to pay, my original total was $301.82( including the tax) and all of a sudden it increased to $401.81, which is almost $100 more. I was very confused because I was specifically told the early check-in would only be a $25 upcharge. I really did love staying here, and everything else was great, but being charged an unexpected extra $100 was honestly pretty frustrating and felt excessive, especially when I was told the fee would only be $25. I would definitely stay here again, but I would just hope the pricing and additional fees are communicated more clearly beforehand."

"The hotel was clean and fresh. Very updated. Comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The only downside was noise from the traffic. We were on the top floor and could still hear a lot of noise from the busy street bear the hotel. I would definitely stay there again but would ask for a room at the back of the building."
