Welcome to The Acorn! This very peaceful Aframe cabin has a full-size kitchen with new appliances, modern-rustic bath with a walk-in shower, a loft area with a smart tv and comfy king size bed. It is located on the top of the Bayfield peninsula, less than a mile from beautiful Little Sand Bay beach on Lake Superior, and approx12 minutes from Bayfield. There are gorgeous hiking trails, such a Frog Bay Tribal National Park, located within minutes from the cabin. There are also marked walking trails directly on the property itself. Beautiful details, great kitchen and bathroom make for a lovely basecamp for exploring around Bayfield. The cabin is new and in May 2023 the grounds are muddy after all the spring melt and rain. If you bring your dog be prepared to take your walks on the road to avoid the mud. Kristin provided dog towels and bowls which is a nice extra. The kitchen is ample and we’ll stocked w pans/utensils. The lofted bed is a good use of space. The ladder/stairs are sturdy and safe w rails on both sides. The bathroom is well designed with walk in shower. The setting, in the woods on a dirt/gravel road is so peaceful. The stocked wood stove and outdoor fire pit is a nice touch.
