Every detail of this home and grounds has been carefully designed to take advantage of sweeping views of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. For larger groups, the adjacent guest house which sleeps 6 can be made available upon request. Please inquire for rates. This house gave us everything we needed, including that amazing hot tub overlooking the water! And the cool fire pit right by the lake. There were numerous times over our course of stay that we commented “this host thought of everything!” From simple items as kitchenware to the heated floor in the lower level, it truly was a grand stay on Lake Superior. Loved the bridge and pathway down to water and fire pit. Every turn had a new surprise. The home had a well equipped kitchen. There was a bathroom for every bedroom. All six people said the beds were comfortable. When does that happen? One bathroom floor was actually heated! The house is spacious allowing you to spread out. For example, a speedy WiFi network for remote work. We were only five but this wonderful property could easily host ten. The deck overlooking Lake Superior has an incredible view; a great place to hang out with a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise over the lake. The lower level has a large TV and hot tub just outside - what fun! Walking across the back yard to the cliff and down the stairs to the fire pit and lakeshore helped us appreciate all the landscaping, plants, and flowers.
