Great location, lovely staff providing excellent service, hotel was immaculate and our room very comfortable.

Beautiful building and luxury rooms. Staff very polite and helpful. Ideal spot to stay for Normandy Beaches and Museums. Only 3 miles from Arromanch & D Day Landings. We loved this hotel, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We will definitely return as it’s such an ideal spot for visiting the sites.

Our stay at Le Clos St Jean was wonderful! Caroline and Laurent are friendly and warm, and they take good care of the property and their guests. I was blown away by the beauty of their place. The fresh, warm croissants, pastries, bread, yogurts, cheese, and fruit, along with the local juices and jams, made for a wonderful breakfast. I only wish we would have had more time to spend relaxing in their lovely space. If I find myself in Normandy again, I will definitely have to stay here another...

The hotel was a chateau which had been completely refurbished about a year ago. Restaurant was great as was the breakfast. However the room we chose was a de lux garden view room but was far from being a garden view it looked over the court yard. The manager did offer to change our room the second night but as we were only there 2 nights I declined but he did treat us to cocktails so no complaints. We had a lovely stay. The owners were very nice and helpful and made an extra effort to provide me with gluten-free crepes at breakfast. The rest of the breakfast was also excellent. I would recommend it and will stay there again if I am in the area.

Existing reviews have said it all-the condition of the property both in side and out, the grounds, staff and owners are simply exceptional. The chateau is located in a very quiet area providing the most peaceful of settings. Only a 20 minute drive from the ferry port at Caen and near to all the historic beaches, museums, cemeteries making it a more than ideal location. Amazing, comfortable, immaculate, modern and spacious, an absolute gem within a quiet, historic, picturesque setting with welcoming and friendly hosts. Truly great breakfast featuring local produce. Town, museums and restaurants a short drive away.

Wonderfully warm place. We were greeted late after a delay to our ferry by the owners with a lovely welcome (including from their gentle dog Hunter). Shown to our fantastic room, pass some amazing photos and artefacts from D-day. Our room was great. A superb blend between a brand new modern bathroom and chic traditional French. A wonderful lodge for the last night in France 🇫🇷 we wish we could have stayed longer. My children loved the little hide away bedroom and the roll top bath. Clemence offered an excellent dinner recommendation at a local craft beer tap room. The food was divine! As was the beer. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Have stayed here before and enjoyed the ambience and quality of the rooms and hotel in general.

Very quiet location but near enough to the Normandy beaches and ferry terminal at Caen. We had a lovely big bedroom and en-suite in Tom's well renovated home. All the breakfast options were tempting but we went down the croissant, pain au chocolat, crusty bread route. Tom was very friendly and attentive. We hope to return when next in the area.

This was a beautiful place to stay. Quiet, lovely buildigns, beautifully restored and decorated. Very friendly reception and the family room was spacious. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A quiet, well-being, professional, horse loving retreat from the demands of our busy life around London. The views, room, healthy locally sourced meals and care in presentation are a delight. Highly recommended as a time for Oneself. The Spa and Salt water pool were an integral part of our relaxing time here. We will definitely be returning! Nice older property a few minutes walk from the cathedral, tapestry and a good selection of restaurants and bars. Be aware no air conditioning and you have to pay to park in the driveway.
