Hello fellow travelers! There is a combination fire pit grill a few feet to the left of the entrance to the guest house. It is the type you will find at the state parks and cabins (only it is bigger) Many of our guests have enjoyed the outdoor cooking experience for their breakfast as well as evening meals. We provide nice dry firewood at no additional cost to our guests. If you prefer cooking on charcoal, there are stores in the nearby town of Bayard that sell it. Hello All. I am replying to this guest for the benefit of other guests. My son and I stay at Air B&B or guesthouses all the time and this is the first time I have run into your kind of guest. I had a "Welcome to the Guesthouse" notebook on the table. It stated "Please contact me with questions or comments" and I Iisted my phone number and email address. I live 100 yards from the guesthouse and would have come right over if you had an issue. I do not understand why you did not contact me, but I will address your statements. You know there was toilet paper in the bathroom. I do not know why you unrolled the entire roll and put it in the garbage can; however, there were additional rolls in the linen closet. If you did not see them, all you had to do is call me and I would tell you where they were or bring some more to you. I do not know why you did not wipe up the water you spilled on the table. It ruined the "Welcome to the Guesthouse" information book as well as the finish on the solid wood table and caused damage to the wall. The book was there for guests and included the wifi passcode, sites to see, and again my phone number and email address. We have had rain for 3 days. The window you left open let water into the house. You left dirty greasy dishes and pans in the dish rack (pans you state are not good enough for GoodWill) and food debris in the living room chair. Please note, there is a fire pit and the pots and pans do get a lot of use both inside and outside. If you did not like the floral scent of fabric softener that I used all you had to do is call and I would bring you a fresh set of sheets, or there is a brand new washer and dryer. You could have ran the sheets through a rinse cycle. It has been quite a job cleaning up and repairing damage from your stay. So guests for all guesthouses everywhere, contact your hosts if you have a question or concern. They are more than happy to assist you in making your stay an enjoyable memory.
