"The property itself is beautiful. We stayed in the adults only lagoon. The day we got there they had emptied the lagoon and were filling it back up so we only got to swim in it the one day. The 4 star review is because of this, the staff when we got there really didn’t care and didn’t offer us anything, just expected us to suck it up even though we paid extra for that room.
On Gill T the only way to get back and forth from the harbour with luggage is by the horses. It sounds cute but it is not! The horses are extremely overworked, hot, and dehydrated. Please don’t pack heavy going there.
The staff were friendly enough, not as friendly as the mainland Bali, but none the less they were nice. The breakfast is insanely expensive so make sure to pay upfront for it while booking because it’s much cheaper.
I would recommend staying in a villa, we had friends who stayed there and it was amazing. I also think the villa people have a much better experience at this place compared to an average room. Theres no coffee machine in the adults only lagoon room and it’s way at the back of the property. Along walk to the front but it is quiet so take that as you will.
All in all, I wouldn’t be back. The hotel is very expensive and high end, we didn’t really fit in there and I’m not a fan of Gili T as an island. Mainly because of the treatment of the horses. I would skip the island all together and explore Lombok or main Gili more."
