"Nice view of chocolate lake for my room.
Room was a little dated and needed some minor work like the caulking around the tub but was super clean. I like that I could bring my dog and that the room didn't seem like a designated pet room. Hotel is close to shopping and near to downtown Halifax. Enough free parking to have a spot tho the spots were tight and icy. The night was quite beds were on the soft side but seemed fairly new. I'll stay again when I'm in town"

"The room we got upgraded to had a spectacula view of the bay with cargo ships and trains going by (still super quiet). Clean, staff are friendly and the breakfast was nice. We didn’t get to use the pool but it’s a nice touch. Lots of renovations happening currently to keep it modern"
