"Poor check in, long lines despite requesting an early check in. No discussion at either time of facility amenities. Despite recent renovations no computer or USB ports. Out side table and chairs not cleaned nor accommodation for recycling. The beds are way too high. A fall danger. Nice layout and great bar tenders. Very pro local products. Very good breakfast and nightly wine tasting."

"It doesn't get better for the price. The room was bright and moderately clean, there was a smart tv, the location is absolutely fantastic, and the staff are friendly and quiet. There are many fantastic restaurants within walking distance and Downtown Halifax / Halifax Commons is only a short walk or bus ride away. Irving/Circle K only 5 minutes away. I try to stay here everytime I am in the city. This hotel is great for Solo travellers."

"I must say, one of the nicest vacations I’ve been on in a very long time. The views were amazing. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally nice and courteous. I never saw one staff member that was rude and I was even asked if I wanted my room clean by the maid, which is never happened. During my stage, I went on excursions and wrote the ferry to Dartmouth, which was for me an excellent treat being under the water and going to George’s Island or also a treat. I would recommend this mini vacation to anyone and plan to go again."
