"We rented this house for my son and his friends to stay the weekend after prom, and I stayed with them. Jennifer responded immediately to every question I had, and the house was absolutely perfect. The boys loved fishing, and the large dock was more than big enough. When they would take breaks inside, the inside accommodations were comfortable and provided plenty of entertainment. We could not have asked for a better place to stay or better hosts."

"Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my 60 years on this planet. No phones in the room. Room didn't get cleaned a single time in our 3 nights. Only one time were the towels replaced. The soap was never replaced and was an extremely small size so we went to the store and bought our own small bar. The breakfast was laughably horrendous. At best it was powdered eggs with cheese whiz. There was a $250 hold for incidentals. When I pushed on that and the no telephone I was told they were under new ownership and were making a lot of changes. I'm not sure why that would affect OUR visit. I absolutely will never return to this hotel. And we go to fish in Matagorda often."

"For a one night stay it was okay. Yes it's walking distance to the beach/ocean , which made it super convenient but the studio we stayed in was " updated" per employee but it was still run-down. Make sure to bring your own water bottles. Stove only had 2 /4 burners operable and there was zero cookware. The beds and blankets were very soft and comfortable. I personally would not stay there again. "
