One of my favorite places to stay when I visit the city. Close to USF and Golden Gate Park. Not a full service hotel, just a great clean comfortable room in a neighborhood setting.

The size is important to me. It is not one of those big hotels where the elevators are down the hall. It is intimate and the location is great. One small complaint....the room where I was staying was on the 7th floor and the buildings next door had all the ac equipment on the roof. I'm not sure that is why there was a humming all night, even with the windows closed. I never mentioned it to the desk, but I should have.

"This is a charming and most certainly underrated hotel in the heart of Batna. It is a 10 minute walk from the railway station and is operated by a very friendly owner who speaks English fluently. The room had an ensuite which was well lit and relatively new and a balcony overlooking the town plaza. ..."
