"Bougainvillea, Bougainvillea! My stay was good. I loved and appreciated how helpful staff was. The facility was so beautiful on the outside and very well maintained. The pool area was nice and clean. I just wanted to know where pool towels were because it seemed like it was on a ration. I couldn’t use some of the amenities like the spa because it was closed. The main restaurant on the beach was closed (under renovations) the next time my husband and I wanted to eat. The food there was pretty good. My first time walking into our hotel room was not the best, the AC was not on, thus the room was very hot. It ended up needing repairing, while the two fans that were there was not working. I spoke to receptionist/ manager and she accommodated us with a much better room. After that little hiccup, we were able to settle in and enjoy our stay. I must say, Bougainvillea had the best staff and always had a beautiful smile ready for them because they were all so welcoming. Also a MUST try is their steel pan class. I enjoyed the class so much. It was worth it! The instructor was so supportive, knowledgeable and patient in teaching first timers, like myself."

"I chose this accommodation for it’s convenient location south of pebbles beach and Carlisle bay. The hotel’s beach was very relaxing with plenty of chairs and spacious pools. Just not so great service from the bartender at the pool bar. There were decent breakfast options from the buffet and it was nice to sit by the water and eat. The lobby and communal spaces were great, but my personal room had lots of wear and tear (I.e paint peeling from the bathroom ceiling). Overall, the hotel is “fine”, but with some upgrades and renovations to the individual rooms the experience could be “great”"

"My family and I went down to Barbados for CPL. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the hotel had a great atmosphere. The service was excellent, and everything exceeded our expectations. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return."

"Nice modern decor, very clean from the hotel lobby to the restaurants and the rooms. Staff at reception: excellent, helping, friendly and knowledgable Staff in restaurant: Some very friendly and excellent, some definitively need a lot of training, to be taught what service means, it’s not about them, but about the client and to make them comfortable. Shouting commands to the staff is annoying for the guest. Food: Breakfast, lunch and dinner were excellent - great variety and also a special menu for health food, vegetarian, gluten and lactose free selections. Beach: Well maintained, clean white beach, great swimming and attentive beach support"

"Everything was great overall! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful, although the service could have been a little faster and the staff a bit more friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely consider staying again."

"When i arrived I was greeted with a warm welcome & An option of an ice cold rum punch/ fruit punch cocktail. After we checked in, Our room's were available before the initial time. Later than evening we had lunch which was hands down gourmet to each carefully crafted and well seasoned with love dish. Staff had our bags brought up to our rooms with urgency. Staff makes you feel appreciated and taken care of."

"Enjoyed every bit of my stay at Ecolifestyle lodge. WiIshed we stayed a little longer. Staff was extremely accommodating. It was peaceful and safe. The views from our room (soup bowl) was breath taking. And listening to the ocean waves and breeze in the morning was everything. If you like low key and chill vibes. This is the place to stay."
