Custom Log Cabin on Wild Ammonoosuc River
Welcome to River Ridge Lodge! Our custom Coventry Log Homes design log cabin is located in the beautiful White Mountains perched on a ridge overlooking the Wild Ammonoosuc River. To get to our cabin you will cross over one of the historic Bath Covered Bridges and discover one of our hidden treasures, the spectacular Swiftwater Swimming Hole (known as 'the Big Eddy'). The river is also a well known area for trout fishing as well as panning for gold and gems!
Our beautiful, river-front log cabin, is unique from other log cabins. River Ridge Lodge is very open, bright and airy with cathedral ceilings, skylights and golden colored pine woodwork. The cabin is right above the river with its constant soothing sounds that will relax and unwind you as you sit on the expansive farmer's porch or enjoy the warmth of the sun on the very private sunning deck with its own private outdoor shower. With its South-West facing to capture the day long sun, River Ridge Lodge will deliver an experience of pure tranquility. If you do not wish leave the world behind completely, you will also enjoy the modern amenities of satellite TV with a big screen HDTV and streaming channels, plus WIFI. However, if you do leave the property, cell phone signal is very limited in any direction for about 15 minutes. It truly is a retreat! The 1st and 2nd floor loft each have a queen bed and a full bathroom. The master bath has a luxurious walk-in tiled shower with heated fan. The 1st floor has an open kitchen, dining area and living room with a gas-burning wood stove and big screen HDTV. The large front porch is furnished with Adirondack chairs from Pollywood furniture. It is a the perfect spot for relaxing, reading and observing nature. The Wild Ammonoosuc River is just at the foot of the hill with parking and access to a cleared 'beach' area at the edge of the Wild Ammonoosuc River. Bring folding chairs and a lunch or bottle of wine and enjoy a cooling dip in the crystal clear river water. Our Cabin is located one mile from the historic center of Bath, home to the famous Brick Store which closed during Covid. Bath is actually the home of three covered bridges with the Bath-Haverhill Bridge being the oldest covered bridge still in use in NH. Bath is noted for its historic architecture. Much of the Victorian era architecture in the village has been preserved, particularly in the Federal and Greek Revival styles. The town includes the village of Swiftwater and part of the district known as Mountain Lakes. We are 15 minutes from a Walmart and 30 minutes to Home Depot, Lowes, Shaws, TJ Maxx and many delicious restaurants.

Wonderful cabin. Surrounded by trees with a view of a river in the ravine. Comfortable, well stocked and prompt response from the manager when we had needs or questions. Would love to stay here again!
A relaxing getaway! Great home, well kept. Had everything we needed and more. Spent hours watching river and hummingbirds on the front porch! Beautiful, and fun for all, swimming hole at end of road. Would most definitely book again.

Very nice stay! Definitely deep in the woods but beautiful!
this is a really nice property. Very quiet and peaceful. We were there for three days and enjoyed short days trips to see the changing colors of the leaves and came back to cabin to enjoy a beverage on the porch.
Arrived on a hot day and were pleasantly surprised that the cabin had A/C and was nice and cool inside. Lot's of great ponds around for paddling and fishing.
First ever visit to New Hampshire. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and scenic location. Very beautiful cabin. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Nice clean cabin with river view and great outdoor shower.
Access to river could have been better with improvements.
Excellent choice for a weekend getaway. House was clean, well equipped and exactly as detailed. The road in was a little treacherous due to the weather but very quiet and peaceful and close enough to attractions!
We loved our time at the cabin! The back porch with river views was spectacular. The outdoor shower was a hit for the kids. We were able to enjoy nature, play in the river at the Big Eddy, and explore Littleton. The cabin has everything you need, it cozy, and just right! We will be back for sure!

The place was really great. Super, SUPER clean! Communication was really good, but as mentioned, just wifi and no cell coverage, but that didn't bother us a bit! Highly recommend! Oh, and the restaurant they recommend in the pictures was excellent. Very glad we decided to eat there!

The mountain cabin was new, clean, comfy and had a well stocked kitchen! All the comforts of home including a gas wood burning stove.
Cabin was clean and stocked with everything as described. The gas fireplace was on when we arrived which gave the home such a warm cozy feeling on arrival. Great location. Would absolutely stay again.
We've visited the cabin a few times now. We love it. It's so comfortable and has everything. We love the porch overlooking the river the most. Our hosts were so easy to connect with and made every effort to ensure we had everything we needed.
We absolutely loved this property! Quiet, serene and full of nature! A very relaxing place! Cleanliness was top notch and everything was so accommodating. Everything you need is there for a comfortable stay! We will come back!!
We had a great time at the River Ridge cabin. Perfect space for my family of 4. Everything was clean and as expected. We enjoyed the games and exploring the river below.
Great quiet place. Had a great time love the log cabin. The farmers porch was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. Had a few thunderstorms but we enjoyed them on the porch
Great time and great accommodations. We had beautiful weather and a porch to enjoy it on. No complaints! Some observations: cleaning service there till 3:25pm, mosquitos pushed us off porch at dusk, trash barrel was full and made difficult to add too without attracting wildlife, something I think you’re trying to avoid.
Thank you!
Lovely little log cabin, on a ridge, with the beauty and sound of the river below. Inside is all wood, very well cared for and clean. We enjoyed the fireplace and sitting on the back porch. Although a lovely setting, the property itself is not very expansive if you're looking for a place to spread out. We were only there overnight and it met all of our needs very well.
If you are looking for a place that is somewhat secluded, but a short drive to small towns, this is the place. The home was very neat and tidy and well supplied with all necessities. We had a problem with a squeaky bed which we communicated with the owner and got a response from the property manager within an hour and fixed the problem that afternoon. Very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!
Cabin was just as advertised, well stocked and a great location. Minor issue with not enough towels in bath upstairs, we finally found some in the dryer on the first floor. All good. Would definitely come back. Loved the hummingbirds on the porch, listening to the sound of the river below and the fawns were so beautiful that walked by.
This log cabin was lovely and quite quaint. The space was perfect for 2 couples. The sound of the River running along the property was soothing. However, the rancid smell of the well water hindered the entire 3-day trip. The smell was SO bad, that we refused to take showers and use the water for brushing our teeth. Our group was extremely disappointed and rather grossed out. Again, very disappointed because the cabin was beautiful and just what we were looking for. If the smell is not corrected, we would not go back!
