"This place was the perfect size for our group. We were in Batesville for a clinic. It was a little farther out than I would normally like to stay but we didn’t want to stay in a hotel. Cannot complain about the house. You will like staying here if you like being out away from busy areas. Very quite and peaceful."

"If you want to get away from a busy life for a bit, this is the place to go. We really enjoyed the seclusion, it was so quiet and peaceful. The river was running fast so we only got to kayak once, but it was so beautiful. If you are a wildlife person, jackpot! We saw deer, otters, minks, rabbits and hummingbirds are abundant! The inside of the cabin was smaller than we anticipated, but it was just the two of us so it was perfect. I would highly suggest bringing your own drinking water, as the well water was a bit pungent. However, it had flooded in the area (not the cabin) right before our arrival, and you can't control mother nature. The cabin was clean, but there was a lot of pet hair, we have dogs so this is something we are used to and it didn't bother us. Having access to a little stick vac would have been a plus, but the broom worked just fine. Wifi worked great, cell service was a bit spotty. We would definitely return, it was a wonderful place to get away and we really enjoyed our stay."
