Treehouse Mountain Stay - unique cozy quiet!

  • Treehouse Mountain is one of the coziest, most unique homes at Bryce Resort. Perched on a pedestal in the woods, the Treehouse levitates in the tree tops. This comfortable home is located in a quiet corner of Bryce Resort, near the small town of Basye. This area has no through-traffic and very little light pollution - perfect for quiet walks along the rural roads or deep into the surrounding woods, and slack-jawed stargazing. It's is 2.5 miles to Bryce Resort's main lodge, golf pro-shop, ski/bike lifts, and restaurant & bar, but much closer to the Basye Community Store, Smiley's Ice Cream & mini-golf, Pale Fire Brewing, and Burn Barrel Tavern.

    FEATURES & AMENITIES:
Treehouse Mountain is a two bedroom (one bedroom is a loft), one bathroom, home that's accessible by eight steps down from at the driveway. The main level deck conveniently hosts a gas grill just steps away from the kitchen and living room.

This property has a traditional kitchen and eat-in dining area that seats four adjacent to the living room. The living room features a fireplace (not operable), new furnishings, a Smart TV, and a sweeping vaulted ceiling up to the loft level. A super-cool iron spiral staircase connects all three levels. The main-level bedroom includes a queen bed and convenient access to the full bathroom, which also contains a stacked washer & dryer in the linen closet. The loft bedroom includes a twin bed and a twin trundle bed. This home comfortably accommodates up to five.

Please review the listing photos carefully. This home is clean, well maintained, with mountain/rustic charm blended with modern amenities. It's the perfect weekend hideaway for couples, small friend groups and small families.

The kitchen includes basic cookware, tableware, appliances, and a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind). The Treehouse is also supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, three kitchen trash bags, one bath trash bag, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, one scrubby pad, and two laundry pods. We encourage guests who stay several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies, to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.

Our stay here was very pleasant and affordable. The home was a little small for a family of five, but it was exceptionally clean and peaceful. A major highlight for us was the amazing jetted tub downstairs—it was so relaxing! We did notice the resort pool was closed and looked a bit neglected, but we understand this isn't the host's fault at all. The host was wonderfully responsive throughout our trip. This place is an absolute gem for couples looking for a budget-friendly getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay! The rental had everything we needed to prepare meals, including plenty of kitchen supplies as well as thoughtful extras like Saran wrap, aluminum foil, salt, and pepper. The bed was comfortable, and we had adequate linens and supplies throughout our stay. The jetted tub downstairs was definitely a highlight of the trip! We also really enjoyed the peaceful, quiet setting and beautiful scenery. Sitting outside at night was especially relaxing and peaceful.Communication with the host was excellent. They were friendly, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. We also appreciated having the option, when available, to extend checkout for a small additional fee, which was a nice convenience.I would definitely recommend this rental for a couple. It could accommodate up to four people, although I think five would make the accommodations feel fairly tight. Overall, it was a comfortable and peaceful place to stay, and we really enjoyed our visit.
