"Welcoming and helpful staff. We dined in restaurant food was excellent. Room comfortable with view of the river. Stay could have been improved as road traffic noise is a wee bit loud at certain times. AC unit also a wee bit noisy. Overall a pleasant stay and we would stay again."…""Welcoming and helpful staff. "The first thing you notice is that the outside of the hotel needs repainting. The second is that the old chipped bath in the ensuite needs ripping out and a modern shower is needed as you can't stand up and shower in the bath. Having said that, the rest of our stay was lovely. "Pretty basic. Only saw one member of staff whilst we were there, the receptionist who was most pleasant. However she left just after we checked in and we were unable to lock our room from the outside which didn't seem a problem as all keys throughout the hotel seem to be the same.
